    Well, the boat ran well & almost all of the lures are quite clean. Went one for four, 3'-6' down over 10'-15' on the 'riggers. Three came on a black & silver NK 28.Boards saw no action. Ended up with a 15" steelhead off Russell Station on some bastard green stick bait, the first one to ever hit the boat!

    The Skunk'd Too is heading out of the Genny on its maiden voyage tomorrow morning. Things didn't work out well at all last season, but I haven't & won't give up. Does anybody have any insight on what's hot lately & where? Thanks!

    Now that my post re: trolling plates vs. bags has fortified my decision. Any thoughts on fishfinders/sonar? I really would like to get a new one, with an internal GPS. Thanks!

    I get a tow harness for water skiing, the self-centering type, a 5 gal. bucket, drill some holes in it, replace the buckets' handle with rope, add a swivel to the rope, hook it all together to the u-bolts already on the stern, that may just be the low budget solution!

    So, instead of spending $$$ on trolling bags, I should give a couple of 5 gal. plastic buckets with a 2"hole cut in the bottom tied to the forward cleats?
