Its a big lake , don't worry about crowding the captains. I would not know what boats are in the whi or the loc ,just give all boats some room and everyone is happy. I fish loc every year and support that one because most other derbys are competition fishing.

Thanks guys for all the help. 3 days of fishing and no hookups. we packed up early and headed home. Musky won this time. I will watch to see when they turn on again,but we are done for the year. next is spring browns out of sandy creek. Good luck

Nothing going at all today. Trolled over deep holes,along edges did not see any activity. Will try afew hours in morning trolling. Tough few days down here.

Started casting first thing this morning around bridge had nothing.talked with guys at motel said its been. Slow. For a few days. We trolled rest of day and had nothing and did not see much on graph I want to say thanks to Chad for sharing some good info on chat we will try again all day tomorrow before the front comes in

Made reservation for 24 -27th Bemus point lodge. Anybody down there then? We have had good luck just north by state park. Will be in a sea nymph gls using downriggers. Thanks for the leads on places to stay.Will post results

thanks guys. Who would patrol launch area at night? Have not heard from bemus point lodge yet, that might be the spot and leave rv home. or see if we can park at lodge?

I have a rv and boat and need to find place to stay and leave the boat at dock any suggestions or a motel with docks .i know it's late in year but thought I would try thanks for any info

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS kids and wife today first chance to get out for loc. yep 20min in wife looked green and 10 yr old no better. yes they did take motion pills well before going so my strategy did not work. back to creek and my 8 yr old caught a sunny and was casting like crazy he had a ball!!! 2 adult loc and a youth ticket$$$$$ they need to add a sunfish bracket!!!!!. we did have fun thats what counts will try tommorow again.was i atleast in the right depth????,if they catch anything out thhere they might get over being seasick.

am i missing something? the lake forecast was ne winds with wave 3+. so i cancelled wife and kids for fishing. your report says 1 ft what am i missing? do i drive down every a.m. with boat and family, that seems like a waste of gas and getting everyone up at 5 .a.m? what do you guys do?

never stayed at selkirk is there a launch and dock there i have an 19ft boat with a small rv just wondering what the launch is like?

going for a week just wondering where to buy worms and minnows for the kids.
