Kevin,
That's the plan...i had some water damage to the camper over the winter though so we'll see if I can get that straightened out in time. I also picked up a '91 sea ray 220da. I'm interested to see how it trolls down.

I can remember being 4 years old and perch fishing with my dad on Keuka lake when a pickerel hit my my bait on a little Zebco rod and reel. "I got a big perch dad!" That fish hooked me for life!
Awesome report! Keep it up!

Comes with Cannon manual riggers, eagle fish finder, nav/anchor lights, Dual stereo system, and lots of memories. Nice little boat for brown fishing. I've run 8 rods off this little boat before (looked like a porcupine coming down the lake!).

Hauling the camper and family to Hamlin Beach tonight. I'm hoping to sneak out tomorrow am for a little fishing.

Here are a few graphics from a study on lake Huron a couple of years back. The kings were caught and implanted with data storage tags, retrieved later by fishermen catching the tagged fish. It clearly shows how the salmon moved out of prefered temps. in the late summer and fall. The second chart shows depth movement.
I find those charts very interesting. About half of our salmon hits in the last 2 weeks have been on sliders when the riggers were set in 47-50 degree water. Kind of makes sense when looking at this chart.

I haven't fished Cayuga yet this year. Your post is motivating me to change that!

Crazy. I went back to laker fishing last night. My brother in law and family is camping at Sampson so i took them out for a quick trip last night. Went 4/5 lost a dipsey due to a kink in the wire reeling in a fat laker. Was glad not to be perch fishing!

Well panfish are definitely safe from me! We tried the inside (10 fow) & outside (25 fow) of the weed beds. Used dropshot rigs with worms, fatheads, & crabs...not even a sunfish.

Does anyone have a favorite depth for perch in the summertime?

Sounds like you made the most of the conditions you were working with. I'd call that success!

Thanks for the heads up. I guess they want to go perch fishing now. I haven't been perch fishing in 20 years lol. They may be disappointed!

Yeah we need to put a team together and keep this going. Maybe move headquarters to the Ramada? Could do a nice closing with live music and bbq. Would like to see the fallen veterans honored on Memorial Day too. Just a couple thoughts...
