  1. Here is a meat rig in our xxxtreme glow, Owner hooks and 60# test to hold up to the big kings, nothing like it out there. Glows super bright and a long time. Jon will be getting a big shipment of everything thur. The butter face rocks over there and try the Rons morning wood fly ( Ron Jacoby came up with that one ) and the new Butter Buns fly has been off the chart hot and only going to be at Jons, not getting them on the website this year. Now is the time for Jons little salmon, All seasons, Fat Nancys and Woodys to make there money over there so please support these guys. We only sell at Jons as I promised him that years ago besides we have to much fun wih his sign, LOL. Thanks for using the Butter face and good luck to all in the LOC, BW

  2. Nice job again as you always seem to do great. I have to give credit to Ron Jacoby as he came up with the fly Rons Morning Wood. When he said mix these colors I thought boy will that be ugly but turned out to be awesome. Get well soon Ron so you can use them :) On another note we will try and get them on the site today, busy as always here. Thanks Todd your great Rod sucks ;) BW

  3. Tweets are fine but I just dont think for a min that most charter capts are going to let people know to much. Nothing against them or most fisherman but you always have those guys that will then come out and run over your stuff that you just helped out. BW

The "close the barn door after the horse is already out" mentality needs to go . VHS is here and will be forever. The fish need to build up an immunity to it, just like we humans and the "Svine flu" . Tom, there has not been a decent replacement to your cut bait since you discontinued it's distribution in the US. I hope that sometime in the (near) future you will be able to supply your product in the US . I can only wish and hope.

They are selling real herring in Ill and Wis from the west coast. Cant sell it in Mich from the west coast. DUH WHAT. Someone needs to look at a map that makes these laws, BW

  5. Not sure where to post but figured guys on here fished in Conn. New state record on a Kokanee on a Big Weenie grease trap was verified yesterday. Old record from 1976 was 2.75# new was 2.88# Congrats Tom breaking a 35 year old record is pretty cool, BW

  6. Most mylar flies are cut the same, either regular cut or fine cut. Flashabou as a whole runs much thinner. The spook fly is made with material that is about 100 strands per inch, super fine.Almost looks alive in the water. Now the Proctologist fly has 3 flashabou materials in it. 2 about 1/69th of a inch wide 1 about 1/100th of an inch wide but the glow is stiffer so when reversed the glow doesnt seem to bend as well as the others. Also flashabou does not come banded they are loose strands. Just a bit of info, Thanks guys, BW

  7. This is how we run the flashabou flies, long and narrow with the thread toward the flasher not bent over like Rod does it  . The flashabou is differant in the water than mylar and when you take it out it looks really narrow. They catch tons of fish and hold up awesome. They will work either way but I like them like this but to each his own.

Tim, what Rod said, Luke is a good friend and Karen and I think of him as 1 of our kids and he goes by Spook. Big Weenie does not in any way condone offensive names ;)
