PM me of you have something you think I might be interested in.

Just bought an Ulterra for my new tiller. Now I am looking into an onboard battery charger to ensure I keep the batteries in good shape and get the most out of the motor.
Now the big question is all the money for a Minn Kota charger worth it? They seem advanced, but they are almost twice the cost. Is it worth it for a 3 bank charger to go with the more expensive Minn Kota?

For anyone else following this I bought a handful for Mag Lip 3.0s on the suggestions here. Availability was limited so I also got a couple 3.5s.
The 3.0s are more like the old K9 kwikfish and what I would consider trout size. The 3.5 is more like the K11s and a more appropriate size for Salmon.
Best,

Consider them sold! I can meet tomorrow if you want. I am near east amhest so very close.

Hi are these track mount? If so I will buy them.

Also we used to take the Kwikfish and put a larger hook on the back. It would give it a wider wobble and was a lot more effective. Anything similar with these mag lips?

Thanks guys very helpful. What size are most using? 3.0, 3.5?

Has anyone used these in the LR?

HI All,
I grew up fishing the lower Niagara from a boat for lake run fish. We used to either drift eggs or pull K9 Kwikfish (Trout) or K11 (Salmon). I am not seeing Kwikfish in these sizes anymore. What are people using these days?
Thanks,

Hi,
If these are still available, is $180 price per rigger or for all three. Also do they have autostop.
Thanks,

Hi All,
Back in the 90s my family used to take me smallmouth fishing in the Lower Niagara during the ESLO if there was too much of a blow to fish the lake for Salmon.
Now I have my own kids and would like to do the same. Problem is that things change and I could definitely use some pointers since it's been 20-30 years. We used to fish the Canadian side and drift in 16-20 FOW. We used small jig heads tipped with plastics. Best combo was red jig head with Berkley Power Leech. So now I don't think we can fish the Canadian side and they don't even make the power leech anymore. If anyone has suggestions on what to rig up with and what drifts may be best I'd really appreciate it. My girls are young and I'd like to put them on top of some fish rather than just shooting in the dark.
I know there are other places that may be better. But my memories of the Mighty Lower Niagara are pretty special and I never knew how good I had it as a kid.
Appreciate any advice.
Best,

I have spent many years using this rig to fill the freezer with Walleye, Crappie, and Perch. I have also hammered Spring Browns and Coho in Lake O as well as Fall Kings and Browns. I am selling because I have bought a Lund Tiller and have not been using this rig very much as my family has been growing. Whoever buys this will have a real fish catching machine. For near shore trolling a kayak with a properly setup motor can be much more effective than a boat. Mainly by being stealthy and importantly highly maneuverable. When I find an active pod of fish I can turn back on them on a dime with this rig especially if I only have one rod out. Most of the time I only fish one rod as it is much more manageable.

Thanks.
I actually had the plug in upside down so glad I hadn't tried to force it any harder. When I originally set it up it was in the garage after dark. The groves on the female end of the connection only start half way through the hole which makes it hard to see.
thoughts on battery chargers?

Thanks guys I appreciate you experience. It sounds like Minn Kota is the way to go. Another expense for the wife to give me flak about....
