I have a pending deal on the boat, and a second buyer if the first declines. Sorry Reel Fun, I thought you were on of the guys that had called about the boat. Thanks

Still have the boat, stringers and transom are in great shape. No recent survey, you have a survey done prior to purchase. The boat is located near 44450 zip code. Call if your interested, we can discuss the boat in detail. Thanks Chris 330-720-4343

Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass. This boat needs nothing to hit the water, even has a full tank of fuel. 90 gallons I think?

Sorry guys, no other pictures. The boat is locked inside for the winter. I'll get more detailed pics around April. Thanks

I installed an AP14R in my 245. Like they said just cut the bulk head, its well worth it.

The fish box's have thru hull fittings in the bottom, hoses run into the motor box. Inline strainers shut off valves (ball valves) Pump (wash down pump) discharge is via thru hull fitting The shut off valves let you clean one box at a time. Great system.

1989 PennYan contender 245 - THINKING of buying, Any opinion
Thinline71 replied to Harepie's topic in This Old Boat
I own a 92 245 Contender, I suggest you take the boat for a sea trial, make sure you like the way it handles. The 245's tend to have a bit of roll to them, and the ride during a following sea is not that great. A survey is a must, lots of rotton stringers, transom's, motor mounts. The 305 will have plenty of power with the correct prop, 20-25 gallons for average walleye trolling trip on Erie.
