The "knot so blue" bubble is in , fishing solo till Sat.

Wanted to check it out, inbetween jobs , bored but didn't want to drag the boat up , and yes nick it was I ran about 12 miles up the lake looking for fish, almost to long point, finally found a few , soooo.... Derby day I'll be a north ender slip # 70 at Samson

Drove to samson today (102 miles one way) and reserved a slip for the national lake trout derby, while there I talked to a perch guy and he showed me some pictures of the perch he has been catching.. All I can say is WOW they are pigs!!!!

Kyle, do what I do, make up a derby name for EVERY weekend!!!!! How's Kaden doing?

Henderson harbor last spring pulling worm harnesses for walleyes, also caught a gar that day----strange---

Fished 9:30 till 3:30 caught one small salmon on a 10 color core watermelon apex, took a shot on the 52 ft. Rigger, nobody home.. Boat ran great, no equipment failures and a beautiful day to be out. Can't ask for anything more!!!!

How about a drift sock with a screen in the bottom, hooked to the down rigger ball and trolled thru the bait pods at 80-100 ft. I really need to get out on the water!!!!!
