I was at the same store 2 weeks ago, heard the same story. Browns are caught in the river, so there should be some in the lake, but I never see any boats, so that's never a good sign.
I tried for a couple of hours on the weekend, nothing.
Yes, I am new to fishing for browns, is it too late? I would like to try outside the Credit River, any advice on depths, lures, etc? Otherwise, where was that nice brown caught?
Thanks
I tried to launch my boat at Lakeview and in Port Credit a couple of weeks ago, but the docks weren't in.
The docks have since been put in, but I haven't had a chance to get out.
Anyone else out there have any suggestions for Browns in the west end?
Thanks
I am picking up my boat this weekend, and live in the Port Credit area. Is it worth trolling for browns in that area? If so, where would you suggest?
Thanks
Peter

SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

I have a basic Eagle fishfinder on my 2008 Legend 18' boat which I would like to upgrade with minimal effort.
Can I use the current transducer with the HDS 5 or 7?
Thanks
Peter
