Is The chart you show based on wire or mono. I have been running the Slide Diver off the #1 Dipsy curve with 30# Power Pro and it seems to match up fairly well.

Being new to Salmon Fishing on Ontario, I am curious regarding the value of a split ring on the spoon for connecting to the leader. Some of the spoons I purchased have rings and some do not. I do use Duoloc snaps which have a round bend that allows for a fairly free movement of the spoon. Your comments, pro and con.

I am making my second trip to Lake Ontario on August 21st and remember all the problems we had with the Water Fleas until we spooled with mono. I wanted to be prepared this year so I spooled two of my outfits with Flea Flicker. I understand that some individuals simply use a rubber band. What release do you recommend for use with 30# Flea Flicker line?

I am new to trolling for Kings and have a basic selection of Flies, Spin Doctors and Spoons. Can you suggest what size Dodger I should purchase and 3 to 5 basic colors. I will be fishing in late August. Thanks for the help.
