  1. Don't do it! I did the mods on 6 walleye boards. They ran worse. Called Church and talked about it, they knew all about blood run video. Church does not recommend the mods on that video.Ended up buying 6 new arms to replace the ones I bent up with the lighter. MHO.

  2. We launched at Ft.Niagara on Monday. Fioating docks are in on the left side of the south launch. Floating docks in on right side of north launch. They got alot of floating dock to still install. Eventually floating dock  will connect south and north ramps. Its functional now, will be real nice when 100% done .

  3. Also want say I’ve been launching at Ft N. for over 30 years. Right now water level IMHO looks close to normal. I was at Olcott harbor Saturday and looked fairly normal there too. Spring 2017 was a very abnormal event. I’m optimistic this years water levels will not affect boat launching to much and the fishing is gonna be fantastic!!

Want to know what the new project ed completion date is. Right know it’s 1 year past projected completion. I’m gonna be a squeaky wheel.

  5. Made trip to Ft Niagara. This is what we saw. Will try and send a few more pics if I can figure out how to it. Its definitley a floating dock system that will connect north and south ramps.  The floating docks will run parallel to the shore.. It should be real nice when its done. Was supposed to be completed in spring of 2017 according to billboard/picture/sign at entrance way to launch area.

  6. I live on upper Niagara river. Never seen so much ice in river with boom still in. Feel like there can’t be much ice left out on Lake Erie. Had some bad tree damage today. Hope you all came out OK from this wind storm.

  7. Had Cannons for more then 20 years. Had my fair share of problems. Got to a point where I bought an xtra cannon just to keep as a spare while one was in the shop getting repaired. Went with Scotty 2116's on new to me boat in 2013. Zero problems since then. Only problem I'd say is Scottys don't look as cool as Cannons.

  8. Did the project to put a floating dock system connecting north & south ramps ever get completed?? I think it began in winter of  16-17. Then all work stopped in spring of last year cause of high water. Work never resumed entire summer. South ramp was closed all spring and summer. Anyhow saw the pics of what it should look like when done, its gonna be awesome!! Just curious on where this project is at??

  9. Hey Lucky 13' m with you. i'm seeing climate change in my lifetime if others don't  they are in denial . So where do we go from here??

I'm very worried about the future of our Great Lakes fishing. Seems to me our goverment should be engaged in whats happening in the Great Lakes.More then 20% of the fresh water the entire planet We are at

    hey

  10. I went with Traxstech stuff all over my new to me boat back in 2013. Lots of track ,rod holders. rigger mount risers, planner board mast and planner board reels and more. Spent a good buck and have been pretty happy with everything except the planner board reels. They were awful !!! It was almost impossible to reel in my big boards . Previous boat I had Big Jon mast reels not a problem. Problem with Traxstech reels is the diameter of the spools. I sold them and purchased some bigger reels can't remember brand but I'm happy. Think of it like gear ratio on a long copper or lead core reel. Size matters!! I like all my Traxstech stuff its probably gonna outlast me. On that particular item I don't think they did enough R & D. Just my HO.

  11. TR-1 is your answer. Its expensive but you'll be soooo happy! I've had it on 2 different boats. If you buy from a place out of state its no sales tax and saves alot. I reccomend Calumet Marine in Chicago area. There tech help was great over the phone so I could do my own install. Also did on the water programming and calibration with tech help on the phone.

  12. I trust Robins more then groundhogs!! Saw my first
one yesterday,2/28 . Then saw 7 more later on. Its gonna be an early spring even though we're gonna get alittle more snow March.

  13. Do they attach to rigger cable just above the ball?? Just curious cause I've got two of them, I think in a box of paraphalnalla on my boat. I've had em for 20 years and never tried using them. One is green the other black, both have crushed glow tape on them. Very curious if any one has had experience with them.
