  1. We are leaving on Monday this year as the wife has to work on Tuesday. I am just hoping to leave Seneca without any wounds this year. Last year the wife drove into the lower unit of my boat as we were leaving ;(:@ so I try to make the most of every year! Seems like something every year has happened for the last four or five years Got to cross the fingers and make sure I follow my wife while driving  Hey tripledeuce, you are on for those beers!

Great day!! 65 and 75 down with the glow frogs they never hit any other lure. Seemed the west troll was best. Just east of the ladders to the wall. Biggest king was 26  with three more at twenty or better. Dropped a MONSTER brown. ;( Not another boat in the area as they were all out to greener pastures!!! TONS of bait and lots of BIG hooks around them. I would like to thank Capt. Carl for his information due to the fact that the day before I fished the same spot without moving a rod and I too left for greener pastures!! I left too soon. oops

Quick and very fun day. The ones we lost were on double headers. All Screamers. Biggest fish was 20lbs the other three were teens. Wish we could have boated one of the doubles due to his ability to rip out 400' on his first run and another 300 on his second. we never got a chance to attempt a 3rd because he straightened the hook out and came off!

  4. We too had a great weekend for the most part. We caught roughly 25 fish from Friday to monday with tons of food drinks and laughs EXCEPT for Monday afternoon when my wife and I decided to go home a day early. We had everything packed up from Sampson and we got to the stop sign at the end of the park before the main drag when my truck that was pulling the boat lurched forward. I looked out the rearview mirror and saw my wifes truck which was pulling the camper quite close to my boat! Thinking to myself, :swear: "oh I KNOW she didn't just hit the boat." After checking to see if the kids and my wife were ok I see her truck buried into my lower unit!!!!!!!!!! :@ the skag and part of the prop bent but that was the only visible problems. Hopefully there are no internal problems. I have to take it into a marina to get an estimate for the insurance company. :headbang: The impact pushed the boat up the trailer approx. 8-10 inches so hopefully that saved the boat. Unfortunately for her truck, we made it to Geneva before calling AAA for a flatbed and we all rode VERY quietly back to our house following her truck on a flatbed and pulling our trailer. Other than that it was a GREAT weekend. It was a pleasure to talk to the infamous Pegasus and Zebedee. Thanks for the info. One of my friends wife came in 2nd in the female category with a 10.14.

  5. Thats been my usual pattern the last few years. Go south of Sampson about a mile troll north in 90fow pass the chute then troll back in 120 and we have good luck and have been close a few years but no dice lol. So I am glad to hear they are out in that water!! I love trolling around the pilons too lol. Gotta love screaming FISH ON and watch them jump out of their boats
