  1. If it has radios on it now you have to stick with them you can`t mix them without buying all new. I just went though it with my trailer, ruin a brand new tire they mixed a bais and a radio and then blamed it on a bent rim. Maybe the rim was bent, I don`t know but then they told me I should not mix the tires, so learn from me. If I was you I would buy to new tires and rims the rims are cheap and keep the other two for spares on a trip that long. I have the goodyears marathons on my camper and they run fine

  2. we run lead on oneida for eyes all the time, that is all we use, put just a little backing on your reel depending on how big of a reel you got, nothing special for backing line. For lead core line buy only cabela`s, the rest r junk, trust me on that, try them all. we run 18lbs test it sinks the best, 12lbs doesn`t sink worth a crap, 27lb sinks but not as good. with them reels just use three colors of lead and depending on the lake will depend on the leader to use, we use 10ft on Oneida. 1.8-2.0 should get you 5-6ft down. I tie a regular knot at the end of the lead, just pull some lead out of the end 3-5inches and tie a knot then take your leader and tie a treline knot to the lead line and snug it the the knot on the lead

  3. You do not need anything great for lead-core line the worst pole is cabela`s lead core pole, unless you change the tip. I have been running lead on Oneida for a long time, and put the lead line to the test as we jerk this line for eyes, and have used about every downrigger rod out there we like cabela`s lead line the best, and daiwa accudepth poles the best 9'6"

  4. We have four dr926h 12-30 we run lead core on them, two poles we run off shore tackle planer boards even hook the lead line right to the boards, and the other two we run straight off the side of the boat usually jerking the line. These poles perform awesome, can`t say enough about them.
