Bear with me this is my first report ever. Launched at Union Springs started trolling when we hit 100 foot fished from eight until almost 11 AM with nothing. Tried a bunch of spoons all different colors flies and flashers nothing. Tried 50 foot deep in close out to 150.11 AM switched to stick baits first fish on a dipsey and a rainbow Rapala trolled on wire with dipsey out to 300 set on 3 off Aurora.28"Rainbows my best on Cayuga.After that 6 lakers in 1 1/2 hours All on various stick baits.Pointers on posting appreciated.

Looking for a safe place to store my boat and trailer on the north end of Cayuga. I have a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive and would like to keep it close to the lake and just come up with my truck and launch. Would consider dock for part of the season . Any ideas? Thanks

Try soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic , and fresh shredded ginger marinate for a couple hours cook with leftover marinade or on the grill.

I'm reading these comments while sitting in my chair at a water site in a campground on Sacandaga lake. 5 mph speed limit no wake zone while people a flying back and forth in boats and jet skis.

Camping on a lake near my home. Last year had the boat on anchor with a float broad daylight someone pulled in cut the boat loose to get the anchor ball. Glad they left the $150 anchor on the end of the rope. Asked neighbors when I got back at the campsite no one saw a thing

I'll only take lake trout from one lake if I'm going to eat them the rest of the lakes i put them right back in. For some reason whether it's the cleaner water or what I don't know Cayugas lake trout are The only ones I will eat

I fillet them ,brine in salt brown sugar maple syrup and apple butter that I make ,couple of bay leaves , then smoke over apple and apricot wood , fantastic
