  2. Looks like I may be headed towards a rebuild/remanufactured on my starboard engine. Mechanic recommends Jasper. Reviews are all over the place. Some say they used to have a lot of problems but have become much better in the past few years. Anybody have any recent experience with Jasper?  Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Don’t know if this helps any. Friend of mine ran a service station for 40 years. When the block cracked on one of my cars he recommended Jasper engines. He said top shelf motors and blocks.

Did the same thing Gimble mount slid it into Bert’s ratcheting rod holders. Cut quarter inch slits in the back and the sides so water could drain out and cut a slit in the flat part to put my Knife so it doesn’t slide off

  5. I have always removed everything from the boat (electronics, seats  you name it and store it in the cellar with even temp range. Never a problem in all these years so I continue that practice:smile: My boat is stored in a neighbors barn in the country and you never know for sure what may get in there (e.g. feral cats, raccoons, squirrels etc. I know folks that have had their transducer wires chewed up too when their boat was left at a marina, and folks that have had rodents chew their seats, PFD's and electrical wiring.

Took an old video camera case from a long time ago. Laid my electronics in it cut out foam so they fit right in. About the size of a small suitcase. Nice and safe and when I store my boat away for the winter They’re not tempting someone.

  8. I guess some of the Walmart staff had heard him (the buck) mumbling and complaining about being harassed the day before while trying to get a little:lol:

Not my year I’m not complaining I figured I’d go with the black powder. Stopped at the local gun shop to get primers for my Thompson center he sold all of them to some sporting good store in New Jersey Check the Internet not a store within 100 miles has them. I’m in upstate New York.so I’m out of luck there. Finally found a package in the cellar by my loading equipment that was 15 years old figured I’d try them. They worked. All set to go out the next day over 32 inches of snow.Maybe I’ll try snowshoes.Just one of them years

  9. First time in 16 years empty-handed deer hunting. My wife and I pulling out of Walmart there’s a buck in Walmart parking lot on the grass having lunch. I think he smiled when I drove by.
