  1. Your most welcome, I know the price is outrageous but our dealer carries it. Couldn't you order it through Tractor Supply? Our local store carries it, and a heavy duty truck repair shop should carry it, might have to buy a 5 gallon bucket of it though. I'd think the 15w/40 would be just as good. What hell is 5w differance going to do, nothing, might be better so the oil gets to the upper part of the engine faster. I have a pm to Hank about this, I wanted to hear from a professionals point of view!! I'll let you know once he gets back to me! P

Thanks Pap. The more info we have, the better. I'd assume that this goes for most v-8 marine engines

  2. Thanks Pap. I was waiting for you to chime in on this.

I bought 40 like you suggested in another post then I started asking around the docks, they said 15/w40, looked for 25/w40 like my marine guy said, even at tractor supply and nobody had it, except NAPA only had 4 quarts. I ended up with15/w40 on sale at NAPA for $12 a gallon

  3. I have a bit over 1,000 hours on the 1996 Crusader 260 stock engines and sometimes (while trolling) the oil pressure drops below what I'm comfortable with. Any suggestions? How about oil filters while I'm at it? The filters are remote so I'll just take a look at the numbers.

    Thanks a bunch

  4. It measures right around 32 feet long, model 31FRBH, (BH is Bunkhouse) has 2 slide-outs, comes with hitch. Garage kept! Go off grid with full solar power.

BH stands for bunkhouse, this model has a set of bunk beds in the rear, queen bed in the front (new $900 firm mattress), plus a sofa bed and dining area that converts to bed.

As for extras, it was factory made with extra tall master bedroom and heated basement. Not sure if upgrade or not but has 80 gallon fresh water tank and 2, 40 lb LP tanks. Upgraded batteries from 2 to 4 Optima Yellow Tops, added 2,000 watts of solar charging and a 2500 watt inverter. Also added TracVisions in-motion fully automatic Directv satellite system and 2 flat screen tv's with built in DVD players.

Given the great condition and extras, the owner would need to get $25k for the unit which would include the 5th wheel hitch if interested.

If there's interest, please message me and we can setup a time to go look at it in Honesdale PA.

  5. Some of our dies are progressive, to a point. None of them form, we do that separate. The #4 die and the SS die I dropped off are progressive dies. They logo, and pierce during the blanking. All that's left to do is form them. Most of the other die's just blank.

As far as plating, from what I understand that's the reason Sutton is not making lures. You can't get them plated any more around here. We used to ship to Syracuse for our plating, but we gave that up over 20 years ago. Plating silver adds about another .60-.75 to the cost of production for each lure. I still have blanks that were made for plating, but they are too thin to use without plating them. In fact, I just put them away with the rest of the stuff that will probably sit for years. It will make for interesting conversation some day when someone else is making these lures. When we purchased Kausch Lures, there were more boxes of "stuff" than there were equipment and it was neat to go thru all of it. We found some collectibles, and a lot of antique stuff. Learned a lot from it too.

I just found this post and I had a Kausch Lure
