Quality was the key word today we hit (4) walleyes over 10 pounds with the 2 largest, 1 over 13 pounds and the other just over 12 pounds. We ended up with ( total walleyes and a big female northern that we released. WHAT A FISHERY WE HAVE!!!!!!!

Nice little charter today out on the big pond chasing some Lake Ontario Gold had (5) clients, we were literally 15-15 on walleyes with 1 northern. Not a bad day the bite should be getting better any day fellas!!!!

Been out by calf and Galloo, all the shoals are holding fish it seems.

Few trips from last week, we targeted kings foe the first few morning hours and then went out for some off shore walleye fishing each day. The fishing continues to be pretty good!!! Good fishing to everyone!!!

Yeah I figure this winter that fish would have been another 2-4 pounds larger filled up with spawn. It was a pig I've caught many, many large walleyes in my day and this one fought like a drum the entire fight to the boat. I would guess this fish would have been close to the state record come this winter. Bettieanne I have been chasing kings around but now its time to be walleye fishing!!!!

My personal largest walleye ever landed on open water. It was bouncing between 14.3 and 14.8 on my scales, and was just shy of 34"!!! Fish was taken over deep water with deep diving thunderstick. After chasing kings for the last (2) months it was nice to get out and target some off shore walleyes!!!! Hope everyone has a great end of there season!!!!

No I wish Ive been off the water a couple days now back out for a (4) hour tomorrow morning. How's the bite today anybody out?

We have had a few nice trips one day we had a (4) person limit by 10Am. Walleyes were all over the top half of the water column this week, hope they stay active for a bit longer.

It's early fellas the bait will be in the bays spawning soon and fish we be on the feed. Don't give up last year was exceptionally good fishing due to the lack of bait. This year the bait has arrived early and the fish are following that bait wherever it goes. Keep putting your time in and you will be rewarded. My best day so far this year was 7-11 with (4) fish being between 9.5 and 11.5 pounds with (3) fish on the LOC board!!! Good Luck!!!!

Panfisher I troll 90% of the time in the bays and out on the main lake. Sticks and worm rigs off boards.

Panfisher, I've been chasing the lake Ontario gold since I was a little kid. These eyes seem to be coming back each year to spawn all over the eastern end, bays, river, etc. I usually follow them from early spring from the structure of all the bays around the eastern end out to the main lake shoals out of Henderson Harbor.

Thanks Pap!!! I've released over (20) eyes this season so far all extremely large females. Looks like the eastern basin is full of wintering eyes again this year. Large age class this year are population is getting stronger every year, I hope it continues.
