  1. You're killin me. I was out Sat and Sun. I didn't catch any walleyes. Dropped the camera down and saw them around the wreck. Trolled for a couple miles on the way home but only caught fleas. Guess I'm doing it wrong. Oh well havin fun though.

  2. Where do you guys have an auto pilot pump mounted on a 277GLE? I was looking for the best place to mount it. Close to the steering ram is recommended by Raymarine but is not convenient. Does anyone have a pump mounted near the helm?

    Thanks, Brian

  3. 2nd the lower shift cable on mercruiser. The bell housing on my Alpha corroded and the threaded bushing came loose causing the cable housing to move. Same situation. Repaired housing and replaced cable. Problem solved.

  4. Nice! We were fishing the wrecks near Singer Castle last weekend and couldn't catch em. I used the Aqua Vu to find them near the wreck. Tried jigging and worm harnesses but didnt catch any. I lost 5 or 6 Gulp leeches while jigging. Felt like they pulled em off.

  5. Monday the 4th of July I was entering Lake of the Isles and noticed a police boat behind me. I pulled off to the side before entering Lake of the Isles. It was an OPP boat. After they passed I followed them into Lake of the Isles. They entered the first bay in US waters and weaved through the boats that were rafting there. A few people were taking pictures and it looked like one on shore was shooting video. It looked like all the boats were from NY. The OPP proceeded through Lake of the Isles and into the Rift. When I went through the Rift and came out by Wellesly Island State Park they were gone. I haven't figured out what they were doing yet. Possibly looking for Canadian boaters to warn them? Has anyone heard anything about this? I'm heading back to the 1000 Islands and I'm going to check in and then fish in Canada to see what happens.

  6. I entered Canada on Friday June 17th to purchase a Canadian fishing license. When I told the border agent I was going to purchase a Canadian license he told me I was required to report to a designated port to go fishing in Canada. Saturday I went to Rockport to check in and the designated area but it was shutdown. I proceeded to Eel Bay through the Canadian Middle channel. I drifted and fished in Canada within site of the Gananaque Narrows. I hung out and watched the poker run and returned to the US without incident. I have been trying to find out about entering Canadian waters without a solid answer. Last year when I e-mailed the CBSA about anchoring in Canada they told me to check a certain section of the laws. The answer was not there so I replied and never received and never received an answer. Everyone needs to keep trying to find an answer from the CBSA until it is solved.
