  1. Ok everyone, here it is. Registration and weigh in stations are as follows. East to west. Screwy Louie's, Warren's Hook Line & Sinker, South Bay Boat and Tackle, Captains Cove. Others mentioned earlier have since changed their minds, for one reason or another. sorry for the confusion. On another note, we have picked up several more sponsors including Dreamweaver, Sodus Shores and more coming in. Good luck to everyone fishing in the BIG WATER DERBY.

Be safe and FISH ON !!!!

  2. Some more good new's. GLT Supplies aka Familiar Bite will be sponsoring the Big Water Derby. Stay tuned for details on that (I think you are going to like it) Also Just a hint but the earlier you sign up the happier u may be. I can't share anymore on that at the moment!!!!!!! Registration forms are at Screwy Louie's, Warren's Hook Line & Sinker, South Bay Boat and Tackle, Captains Cove, and Slippery Sinker. Derby kicks off Saturday

    Fish On !!!!!!!!

  3. Good news, Captains Cove will be a registration and weigh in station as well. However registration forms will not be available there until Friday afternoon. I'm trying to locate another scale and I'll talk to them again. If they are willing to make copies I could email them the forms for sign up until we can get the registration forms there. I'll follow up and keep you updated.

  4. Registration form's and rules will be available at Screwy Louie's, Warren's Hook Line & Sinker, South Bay Boat and Tackle and The Slippery Sinker on Monday June 6th.

Spread the word, the more entrees we get the more you fisherman get in return.

We are working on what will be the best way to post results and will keep you all updated.

  5. Rochester will be South Bay. Registration forms will be at South Bay as well. However they will not be there until Monday. We are just getting everything together on the website. If you go to soduspointbaitshop.com Click on the Specials tab then the specials tab again there is a copy of the rules which need adjusted already due to the additional division added. Be patient, we will have it all together by Monday.

  6. Although I would have to disagree with the popularity of species targeted, I am open to whatever the majority wants. A LT division is fine if that is what you want. However, lets target trophy class fish with a minimum weight of 20 pounds. (there's plenty out there) So less than 1% of views have voiced their opinion, what do the rest of you want?

Who wants a LT division with minimum weight of 20 pounds added????

We had slight delay getting registration forms, they will be at Screwy Louie's, South Bay Boat and Tackle and Warren's Hook Line & Sinker Friday June 3rd. Derby begins June 11th

  7. Who wants to fish for CASH ALL SEASON?? We are putting together several derby's that will give us something to fish for in between the LOC derby's and will be running until the end of September.

Three divisions - Salmon, Steelhead and Brown Trout.

This is going to be a trial run and if interest is good we will grow it.

Dates we are looking at are June 11th to June 30th / August 1st to August 18th / September 6th to September 30th.

$30.00 entry fee for each derby.

Derby's will be run under same format as LOC with some slight differences in the rules. (Be sure to review derby rules)

Private and Charter boats - Same registration format as LOC.

For the trial run we currently have weigh in and registration locations from Fair Haven to Rochester (same locations as LOC) Screwy Louie's, Warren's Hook Line & Sinker, Hughes Marina, South Bay

Payout will be based on entries for trial run.

    Example of payout per entry:

    200 entrees @ $30.00 = $6000.00

    400 entrees @ $30.00 = $12,000.00

    600 entrees @ $30.00 = $18,000.00

There will be a grand prize for largest salmon and depending on number of entrees, payout could be up to 10 places in each division.

Plus there will be day pass for charter boat clients and a separate youth division.
