Thanks guys, if anyone has a used ez steer connector I am intrested I don't want to pay over 200 for a new one. I think I can weld one up, They seem to work on a ball joints at the ends so you can adjust trim and the connectors look something like an air hose connectors...

Ok guys help me out, is this such a rookie question that nobody wants to type it out or is there 1000 diffrent answers? I want to go as cheap possible I know they sell a connector for 30 bucks that hooks to a teleflex steering from my main. will that work for this? or do I need the 250 dollar connector that mounts onto the shaft. Look at the pictures below.

Anyone ever connect your main to the kicker using a homemade bracket? My kicker is mounted on an ajustable motor mount. Any advice? Because I have it mounted on the ajustable bracket, does that mean I have to mount it to the shaft of the motor? Can you connect a bar to the cowl hoods instead?

You guys are tight lipped! Went to the public access yesterday. Had no luck trolling though we saw a couple of guys out there. Gave up and fished for bass and perch. Got back to the launch and the docks were gone! It is my luck that they pulled them the day I decide to go there to fish. It was a little tricky getting the boat out.

Heading to skaneateles lake tomorrow morning. Any advice? Was going to use the town launch. Where should I head? I have downriggers how deep should I run them? With what. If Down rigging does pan out I was told marshmellow rigs are used there. Are they worth a try. I have been reading reading posts about jigging for perch. If rainbows or browns don't pan out where do guys jigg for them? Any information will help me tons. thanks guys

I have a 20 lobsterstyle boat 20' The wheel house has standing headroom. No rod holders on the roof. from my deck the wheelhouse is 6 1/2 feet. Everyone told me no problem you will fit right under. We fit under but guy guys had to push up on the bridge to get under over the summer. Rookie mistake

What species should I target and where should I go? I have downriggers but very little experiance using them. I fish out of a 21' lobsterstyle boat. I am from Castle Creek so I am close to Ithaca.
