I did forward the info on this fish to the DEC. they got back to me this morning and their take was probably illegal stocking as this was the only one they have heard of. They said they have extensive sampling scheduled for 2024.

I have been catching a ton of 16-20” rainbows this year with a couple in the 5-8lb range almost every trip. I believe we have been catching about 3-4 bows for every laker we catch. Much different than years past. 

We were in about 180 fow. 

So….. I’ve been guiding on Canandaigua for many years. I hear the occasional story of a Bourbot coming on a jig. Tonight was definitely a different night. Rainbow bite has been incredible so I picked up my speed and went to all spoons. We get a release on a sliding cheater over deep water and long story short it’s a 5-6 lb walleye. Total shock for me as I have fished this lake my entire life and never have I ever seen a walleye. Great night overall with some big lakers and bows but this was definitely a first.

I have a pair of Cannon Mag 15 Downriggers in almost new condition. I purchased these from a local marina last year and they were new in sealed boxes. The only issue with them is the power cords were cracked. I replaced the cords to the boards and the work as they should. $700 or BO for the pair. 585 30one 594nine.  I have the standard rod holders as well as the manuals and boxes. Essentially 2 new riggers for the price of one.

Here is a nice brown that took a flatline over 188 fow. Last fish of the day and 11.33 lbs. We put her back for you Les for next years derby.

No they don't. I'm in Macedon but travel from Newark to Canandaigua to Rochester daily.

I have 2 Cannon mag 10's for sale. These are the newer models with 2 seasons on them. Includes weight retrievers, one with dual rod holders and the other a single. I do have the emergency crank and manuals. These do not come with the Traxstech basis but they both have the low profile cannon swivel bases. $650 or B.O. Thanks

I'm sure the blue book value hasn't changed much since I listed it and I didn't include the kicker in the price anyway. I would take 37.9k. I would think this is a very good price for this package.
