  1. Took my son and daughter out Jiggin lakers this morning and it was very productive. My son landed a nice 32 incher followed by a 31. My daughter spent most of the morning sleeping and thats ok. I ended up with 5 and my son with three. My daughter said she won cuz she caught the most Z,s. Can't argue with that.

  2. Willing to take $200!!!! I have 2 older cannon riggers with swivel bases and lots of extra stuff. 2 8lb fish weights and a standard 6lb ball, several releases with weight retrievers on the riggers. The riggers have 3ft booms and both work well. there is also a bunch of other releases. I'm willing to let everything go for $250.00. You can send me a message or call me at 585-301-5949. I live in Macedon but travel to Canandaigua everyday for work so I could meet you either place. Thanks, Paul.

  3. Despite the rainy forcast we headed out for a quick run. Started at about 7am a bit south of dragon wall and hit a nice laker right off the bat. Spin doc and grean blue fly. Crossed the lake quick and coming up the other side hit another on a NK28 rainbow spoon down 55 ft. First laker was down about 80ft in 100 fow. Rain started to pick up and decided to call it a day.

  4. Starterd early at 7:00 and had a hit as soon as I got the first rod set. To my surprise a beautifull LL came bursting out of the water behind the boat. On the second jump I watched the fly come out of his mouth. A really nice 5-6# fish. Fished long and hard for a few nice healthy lakers but figured I better get my lil boat back across the lake before the waves got any higher. Lots of debris out around the Keuka outlet. Didn't mark near as many fish as I have recently. ;( Maybe get out on Cayuga Sunday if the forecast gets a lil better. Never fished it before but lookin forward to it.

  5. Started fishing at noon today due to work and by the time I got the first rod set the bite was on. Ran only two rods again with nonstop action. All lakers and all big! I kept one fish and the rest were just large. I would say the average fish we caught today was over 5lbs and the biggest was huge! I tried not to keep em out of the water very long so a quick pic and back they went. The large one in the pic was only 35 feet down. I believe we went 31 for 35 but who knows... we tried to keep track. Tried to change things up and caught lakers on J Plugs off the sp drs. All green.

  6. Well my son is jealous now so he told me I have to take him wednesday after school. I was out there last Wednesday by myself from 6:30 till about 7:30p and had 6 fish on. The sad part was I only landed one :( . We only dropped one yesterday. Must be my daughter is good luck! She never even argued with me when I threw her big ones back. Thats a first.

  7. Fished out of Sampson with my wife and daughter. We ran two rods with flasher and flies and it was all I could do to keep up with them. Lots of 22-26" lakers. Fished from 8:30 to 1:00 and landed a ton of fish. Was hoping to get into some LL's as I've never caught them on the Finger Lakes but we hooked only Lakers. Last double of the day was a interesting one.

  8. Redeyes, I think I met you at the walkins Glen launch as you were pulling out. I was with my wife and you gave us some good advice on the fishing. We had no luck that afternoon but I took your advise and last wednesday my brother-inlaw and I caught fourteen nice fish out of sampson. It's been a few years since i've trolled but I guess I remember. I'll try and throw a pic on. I would love to tag along with you sometime.
