  2. We fish out of Fair Haven and fished to west of Port Bay this Sat..  Saturday we went to 2 miles shy Canadian border. There was bait up top and lots of deep hooks 200+ in 350 to 650,  not as much life 650 to 800, but no takers.  Sun started deep and trolled inward, best picture 350  inward. Fish hard Fri, Sat and Sun and produced 1 fish.  Thru everything and every speed after them. Fished temps 50 to 43 degrees. A few folks that got fish  enticed  the deep ones, fishing about 150 down  One charter did well  Fri evening, went back Sat AM didnt do well at all.

I would go west and STICK WITH THE AREA YOU FIND A BITING FISH.  Looks like the south wind has pushed them to Canada. We need a north then a  gentle west wind

Went out for the afternoon bite.  Headed east and out to 160 to set up. Didn't see many marks or bait.  cold water. Headed west and out  to about 220fow. Still not much.  Managed to get one Skippy on a baby mtn dew spinny with a hammer fly, as luck would have it. Wind twisted up some stuff. As I'm untangling,  I drop my  spinny and watch it sink. Then picked  and ran out to fow @350 FOW. Trolled out with the wind to set up.   Turned and trolled back in. With in 10 min had  1St hit on a mag dipsy 350 back on wire with a regular white spinny we mountain dew tape and a hammer fly. Nice 20 lber.  set back out and it did fired again.  Another 20lb. Double with a rigger dn 140 e chip, Twinkie and meat. Dropped that one. Kingfisher paddle with cut bait took a Skippy down about 120. Pulled and headed in 4-5.

    Yesterday went 3 for 11 between150- 550.

Took most hits trolling into the wind. Yesterday almost every hit was in Baby white spinny and hammer fly

  5. Fair Haven to open boat launches

Village of Fair Haven, N.Y. -- The Village of Fair Haven plans to open one public boat launch, and possibly another, over the Memorial Day weekend even as flooding on Lake Ontario has closed other launches.

The village will open its free launch site on Bell Avenue with a temporary dock system through the help of local marinas and businesses, Mayor James Basile said Thursday afternoon.
