Thanks Thun, Was under the understanding cannon had made a change but not sure yet. What i have done temp. is to set my short stops so weight stops while still in the water. Should not have to do that. Hoping for a quick fix.

I have four 10stx cannons and when they come up at times the cable jumps the pulley. My resent 5hs"s did this a lot . Sine they have updated the pulley was surposted to prevent this. Didn"t completly. DOES ANYBODY KNOW IS CANNON HAS A FIX FOR THIS? iT APPEARS BECAUSE OF THE SPEED OF RECOVERY THAT WHEN THE WEIGHT SURFACES THE CABLE JUMPS THE PULLEY WHEN IT STOPS. Don't forget to get your speed set. Probably the most important of all. I run 2.2-2.5 downspeed.

Don't forget the Mich Stingers for great brown fishing. All i use and with great sucess might add.

Thanks guys, Did not mean surface speed was an issue , seemed a little misleading to say the least by fishhawk when they say you have an added function. Sounds familiar . I realize down speed is the crucial element.

The question i have do you loose or for a better term do you trade surface speed for probe depth,between x4 and x4d? If that is the case there is not an additional function as fish hawk advertizes. This appears to be the case as there are only 4 functions on there  display unless i missed something. Very possible. Would someone be so kind to inlightin me? Thanks and great fishing.
