  1. Great job by youself and you did pretty good with your pics too. Mostly AWSOME FISH!!! One of these days I'm gonna put a cam mount on my boat. The one I put in my race car for incar footage was like 8 bucks on the net. Should have bought 2. Just keep puting it off

  2. Super fish and real nice picture. I always love staying out at least 1/2 hour after the sun goes under. I'ts bitter sweet when we get one then because the guys that indoctrinated me into Ontario fishing would always pull and run just as soon as the sun ducked under.

  3. Dumped in @ T Falls 6:15am fished right out front mostly in Deep water till 11am. Surface temp 77*. Probe showed 60* at 75ft and 49* at 105. Fished those areas with riggers baited with Whit grn dot Dolmation SD with Ultra glow Atomik Fly and Blu NBK Mich sting Echip flasher with Hammer . Dolmation never fired. Switched to Crazy **** NBK SD and DRk grn fly. They both fired. One for a 17 LL and the other for a 7lb laker. Ran Slider cheaters . Gold Monkey Puke took 2 sm LLs. DW 42 spoon took 3 Sm LL, A small NK Grn Monkey Puke that I was sure would fire didn't take a thing. Crazy **** then again fired for a 7 - 8 lb laker. I went mainly to proof my 4 stroke 7.5hp kicker and it's Control king that I moded. 5 hrs worked great burnt a whopping 1.75gal gas. Gorgous morning to be on the water. Weeds got me bad 3 times.

  4. For super Cheap Salmon Country lets you pitch a tent in thier field which is mowed like a yard. You have a boat launch into Lil Salmon on site,fish cleaning station, and comunity bathroom/Water no shower. If they have an empty dock you can put your boat on a dock for an extra fee. You come and go as you please, nothing formal at all and just make sure you pay up before you leave. Quite often I'd show up at midnight, set up camp and finally visit with one of them mid day the next day or before I'd leave. 315-963-8049. I haven't been up in 2 yrs but I just called them and verified it is still that way. He said come on up and make your self at home.

  5. Jason,

    I was up there as well on the 15th and during the weekend I met a couple who know you. They asked me if I knew you and I said I kind of did. I told them that last year cous "ERabbit" and I were fishing Fairhaven and doing well with the Green Dolmation SD and you were fishing the derby out of Salmon River area and not doing much. Erabbit told you about the SD on the phone and you did some Business with it. You then told this Couple I met and she landed a 33lber. Her biggest fish! Small world! It really make me appreciate this site!!!! :clap: Nice report! What depth is the 25line approx. out of The Oak?

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

    ====================

    Threw trip together at the last min. on Thur do to great WX forecast and I needed a "Fish fix". Pulled into port 11pm and slept in the truck . Got out and set up in 70FOW. Calm seas, perfect for Solo. While trolling twd deeper water the kicker quit. Switched to big motor and procided to work on kicker. with head dwn I here yelling from another boat. they are yelling that I have a fish on. A Steelie starts dancing on top, I yell thanks and the bite went steady from there. My hits #s are very conservative as I missed lots of fish do to running solo,working on stuff, not paying attention, cleaning the boat. On Sat. I had a slow start and worked out to 350FOW no one around and it was on fire. I was so busy I forgot to drink, had to put the top up for shade, and run one pole as I couldn't keep up the pace. Very seldom do I leave biting fish and I did Sat. Sun Lost 2 screamers do to worn out leaders on the abused flys from Fri. Sat. One I new was iffy the other not. On Fri I had 2 identical set ups S/D Flys. The only diff was the one fly was all narled up from catching fish. Was wondering in anyone else has experienced this. The narled one was producing.

  7. Was wondering if anyone has experience in making maps with this software rather than buying Navionics fish n chips SD cards. I have the Eagle Intellimap 480. It appears that I would have to buy 2 cards to insure I got all of Ontario and the finger lakes.

    1. Will the detail be as good as the fish n chips when using Mapcreate?

    2. How hard/ time consuming to build map?

    3. How big of an SD card will be needed to fit Ontario, finger lakes, and Hudson river on?

    4. Will blank SD card need to be purchased from Navionics?

    5. Once you own Mapcreate if updates are made to thier info on the net will you always be able to update your cards?

    Any input would be appreciated.

  8. I didn't know Carol played Golf! Go figure!!! Sounds like you'ld better go back to anchor, threaded sawbellies, and slip sinkers!!!! Pwr is back on here. Gotta go pluck some Y bones out of 3 Pickeral. I see Stanley Steamer still has that 3 mile smile!!! :clap:
