SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS
Fished out of Sandy Creek (Hamlin) today, was a little bumpy to start in my 14fter. 30lb king, black/glow SD, Atomik bloody death fly, 120ft of water 70ft down. Laker, 12 lbs, glow frog SD, glow frog fly, 130 ft of water, 80 ft down, Steelhead, DW Gator mag spoon, 140 ft of water, 70 ft down, Coho, 12lb, black/glow SD, bloody death fly, 140 ft of water, 80ft down, Steelhead, white/green dot SD, green/crush fly, 220 ft of water, 180 on the wire, Steelhead, white/white SD, little boy blue fly, 240. ft of water 200 on the wire. All the steelhead were of a good class averaging 10-15 lbs. A liitle bit of crazy current out there to start. In port by noon, lake got smooth as morning wore on. All in all a fun trip with 1 newbie on board, 14 yr old, got another one hooked!
