  1. I'm from south central PA and have now been a New Yorker for 3 years after living in PA all my life before moving up here. Got to be honest. Pennsylvania taxes are starting to match ours, better hunting and fishing up here too, and so far no hydro fracking up here yet. Just my 2 cents but pa is as bad as ny in quite a few ways. Love both states, but trust me. PA is no gem.

  2. These are spares that I don't use, would sell one or all, or trade for a wire or lead core set up, just something I can learn with. I'm new up here and just starting to learn how to set up for salmon trolling. I'm open to suggestions! Lews rod/reel combo, Cyclops ror/reel combo, Shakespear rod and a Penn 550ss reel. All are in good shape. Shakespear and Lews are both 8 footers, and I think the Cyclops is a 7. All three are fairly heavy rods. Thanks!

  3. I have an opportunity to pick up a 24 foot sportfish. I keep hearing different comments about the tunnel drive. Looking for pros and cons. This would be my first larger boat. Love the fly bridge, just would love to hear some thoughts. Would be fishing out of Sodus Point almost exclusively. Thanks!!

  4. Follow your manufacturers recommendation. We had been running high test in our 140 Evinrude since new, and found out earlier this summer it only needs 87. It actually runs better on the 87. Really surprised me.

  5. This is the first buck I have ever killed! 8am opening day of gun. 11 points and just over 176 pounds dressed. Really proud of this, since he never took a step after being shot, just went down. Funny how growing up in PA and using a rifle had me convinced that was the only thing. Now a NY'er for 3 years. This deer was taken with a slug out of a Remington 870 WingMaster! I won't bad mouth slugs ever again!
