hey guys, this season i anticipate alot more fishing. i am getting back into it, from the piers at fair Haven, and from the wall at Oswego. When the salmon start there routine this fall (august or so, i guess) where could should a guy go with a boat? we dont have downriggers on it, but whaere could we go and cast from the boat and have good luck? or are there any other techniques that syou could give. looking forward to a fish filled fall and winter, thanks for all the help.

fished in the harbor for a few hours. saw baitfish jumping out of water. saw one small brown churning up the top and one real nice steelhead jumpin around beatin up minnows. any suggestions? i am new getting back into this, and i have been tossing cleos with some success. my brother i n law nailed a 12 lbs. brown last Saturday from the wall.

how has the fishing from shore been? the action has been slow on the Oswego river, but the fish have been good sized including a 12-14 lbs. brown my brother in law caught.
