Hello all....here is my question. my boat motor uses spark plug L77 JC4 and i have been told that i need to use a hotter plug. i need to know what using a hotter plug does. what is the advantage. and what would the number on the plug be? thanks in advance

SEA LION,,,,, I HAVE THE SAME ENGINE IN A 90 HORSE.... AND AM IN THE SAME BOAT (PUN INTENDED) AS YOU... THE MAN I BOUGHT IT FROM TOLD ME IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN COLD BLOODED.. AM GONNA CHANGE THE PLUGS AND SEE WHATS WHAT...ALSO THINK THINK OIL TO GAS RATIO MAY BE TOO HIGH..BUT IM NOT SURE TO CHECK THAT ONE...MAYBE SOMEONE WILL READ THIS AND KNOW THE ANSWER..THEIR IS A LOT OF GUYS ON HERE WHO REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF...CROSS YOUR FINGERS...HARRY

so.....I have just been given an Eagle ultra classic fish finder. however it didnt come with a transducer bracket..I have been seaching the net and havent seen anything....i dont think they make them anymore...any help greatly welcomed....thanks in advance
