Lol. Good move on the drag. I took note of that from your original post. Wisdom landed your fish. Now do it again but with a friend. LolI want to tell you it wasn't a pretty sight, I'm glad on one saw it. When I got him in close and saw how big he was I backed off the drag and let him wear him self out or I would never have landed him. The Good Lord must have been sitting up there laughing his butt off watching that show.

Flies were the worst. Almost makes the winning fish not worth it. Way hot out there. I had a screamer just after my 17lber it was big. Ran like a salmon. Took at least 300 feet off then poped off. Win some, lose some.we just got back from an afternoon trip out there that pic must have just missed us. we had similar results one 8lb brown one 20lb king and a pair of skippys one big rip on the dipsey but came unglued. hot as heck and my ankles are bleeding from the flies

It is.. took 17.6lb 95 over 100fow. I must of bonked him on the head. If that's what it takes..lolA bit warm out there? Water temp was moving deep, assuming it is back down on bottom now.

Well said.. marking hooks right now.. working 80 to 160 fow 60 to 105 downAtlantic for sure. We were marking what fish we saw in 80-95 ft yesterday and could only get a couple to hit both in 90 and down probably 70...one was definitely a big king (the snap-off) I'd be working below the 100 ft real good and maybe something like t J-plugs staggered too. A lot of times in there they are mistaken for lakers.

Sodus bay info

Start out with 80 to 120fow. Focus on 60 to 100fow. They will more than likely hanging out with 10 feet from bottom, due to warmer waters. They are dark, meaning they are venturing into warmer waters. Spin doctors and ff are still good. Meat rigs are working. Running straight mag spoons alone is also producing. Recommend following Ruff Rider out of Sodus. He has the low down. He's on Lou. Anyway happy fishing. See you out there.
