Me and my fishing buddy are going out for our second try at trolling at daylight in the morning. We put in at Wakins last time, thinking about Lodi this time. Which do you think we would have better luck out of?

I am very new to trolling. I am reading all the post on the very helpful forum, but some of the terms i cannot understand. Is there anything online that explans the term used? Thanks for having such a great place here.

We will get that boat rigged up with everything we need. I look at it like an investment. I just hope I do not kill over and my old lady sells the stuff what I say I paid for it. Since we got a nice fish, we both are hooked.

My fishing buddy started this post. We got the boat rigged up today with pole holders, and rigged the rods up, and plan to hit the water at 6 in the am. One question we both had. How do you know when you get a fish on? I assume, that if the drag it set, we will here it. Am I right. This type of fishing is new to me. I am from the south and grew up commercial fishing for catfish.

Let me try this again. I bought a boat this year and have been trying to fish Seneca lake. I am from Alabama, and the fishing up here is foreign to me. I want to start trolling. What would you here suggest for me to get, to get started? Thanks!
