chinook thats a great report nice job, how deep were you runnin out at 230 water?

just got back nice morning got choppy in afternoon only picked up one in 55 ft on green fly just out of mouth. 24lber was nice but woulda liked more, we were trollin with dipsys and spoons, and two flys on d rigger. Tried in shallow first, after we hooked first one at about 8 am we were excited but could'nt get any others to bite. Went out to 230 ft trolled back to 180 could get anything. All in all had a good time though. Maybe I should start trying J plugs? Any news on how anybody else did would be awsome.... peace

Lookin to get out possibly sunday, want to give my dad and I the best chance for salmon and trout. New to trollin for these fish, been out a buch but haven't gotten many hookups. I have two riggers and dipsys with spoons and a couple flashers and one fly. I just want to be confident were are fishing where the fish are, what are some tips on depth, speed, and location. has anyone been out recently and had some look in either the olcott area or niagara mouth area? ANy help is awsome this site has already been great thanks!

Went out a couple times last week, only picked up 1 brown and 2 small kings. I saw some fish being caught but couldn't seem to consistently evoke hits. I am just a begineer though I am sure the charters could give you a better report. I was trollin with spoons got one on downrigger and two on dipsy. All fish were taken at the drop off.
