I have an 89' an I don't feel it's top heavy. Fish the Big O and finger lakes. It is hot tho in the summer an if you are going with the wind tends to act as a sail.

My order of winterizing is , bring motor up to temp on muffs, shut down , open all petcocks and plugs, close petcocks and install plugs, start sump pump in anti freeze, run to temp , shut down , open petcocks and open plugs and let drain. So far so good.

Went in my dads boat to break it in. Left Treman 7:15 ran to crowbar and set up. 2 riggers at 50' -65' , 2 dipseys out 210' - 190'. Good salmon bite with most 17" - 20". Some lakers , an browns. No down speed today. Gps was 2.7 - 3 mph. Best screen 190 fow to 290 fow. Did put a 5# brown on gold/ blue spoon down 78' over 98 fow in front of Myers. 17/25 total.

Hot spot was crowbar to yacht club. Heading south gps was 3.1-3.3 mph, north troll was 2.5-2.8 mph. Biggest fish came off rigger at 40'. Riggers parked at 65' and 40' , dipseys out 210' and 190'. Everything took hits. Temp was at 65' with 53* water on Saturday.

Fished east side from Treman to Myers , did all silvers 15"-17", then did west side and got into bigger fish, lost a pig landlock at back of boat on a chartreuse / white honeybee. Went 16/23 with only 2 little lakers. Down speed was fast at 2.7-3

Well our annual lake O trip started Thursday with rough condition. Fished till Friday went 2/4. Woke to brisk west wind so made the call to hit cayuga today. Left Treman at 8:30 west side north troll in front yacht club. Riggers at 50' , 64', dipseys out 210 and 230. Pick away at short LL till crowbar. Trolled east to Myers then started hitting lakers. Made way up east with steady pick of lakers. Shot to west side after plant with south troll till just north of scout camp. Trolled back to east side when in 400 fow we had our first triple on . Lakers 27",23" and 22". What fun ! Hot were white/green SD with Iron Duke flys and pink/purple. 16/23 with some short LL and 1-10" Brown.

How about the advanced timing weights that are under the distributor cap. They must move freely or it throws off the higher rpms

Fishhunter1 you will love this boat ! I have the same and can't find anything wrong with the setup. I've trolled 3 trips 8-10 hrs and only used 16 gal gas with the 3.0 . A little rocky on the big pond but fishes fingerlakes awsome. Congrats!

Frisco thats a nice looking rig. Wish I had stuck it out but radar showed more rain but it must have stayed south. Our silvers came at 50' and on dipsey out 210'. Love the Rainbows.

Hit water at 7am out of Treman. West side north troll. Dipseys out 200, 210. Riggers parked at 30 , 50. 2 keeper salmon 1- for dinner , other to fight again. Lakers were aggressive today. Went 5/10 before the skies opened up. Lures today chartreuse/white honeybee , pink/orange honeybee, DW 42nd spood, and SD chrome frog with Iron Duke fly. Down speed 2.1-2.4 , temp 51.5* down 60' over 160 fow
