  1. Good luck this week Nick and crew! I'll be looking for your name on the loc board!
  2. Ok thanks! Trying to white cap in the bay. Hopefully tomorrow is better!
  3. Thanks guys! Good luck to everyone this weekend! The water should be nice and flat!
  4. Had a banner day sunday morning after getting blown off the lake for saturday. Left the docks at 5:30 and had our spread set up by 6:00am in 100 feet heading north. We set out two riggers two wires, 2 flatlines, and three Lead cores. We had spoons on everything besides the wires. It wasn't long before the action started. Our first fish hit the 8 color lead core pulling a green alewife. Just a few minutes later we doubled up on the dipsy with a screamer. Shortly after jake brought a nice 8lb steelie to the net with Danielle close behind with a mid teens king! Everything we caught sunday was in the top 50ft of the water column. Throughout the day we had many doubles and rods were moving fast. Lost a few steelies on the flat lines and broke a nice one off also. Jake did great for his first time out this season and Danielle did great for being her first time out! By 10:00am we were 11 for 15. By this time the sun came out and shut down the fishing for us. We only managed to get two more hits until 12 but by that time Jake and Danielle's arms were tired. We did the best this weekend in 175ft-220fow. Jon did a great job mating! We finished up 11 for 17 to complete the great day on the water! Cant wait to get out on the water this weekend!
  5. Jason- Wayne and I were in similar water just I was east of him. We picked up kings from 120 to 180 but we were getting them only 50 ft down with spoons. Everything was a spoon bite for us saturday. Out in 200fow there was a 10 degree temp break with a good scum line that we were nailing the steelies just on the south side of it and getting them on flat lines, 2 color core and 8 color core.
  6. Had an awesome day on the water Saturday with Connor. We were out on the water by 5:30 and went 9 for 10. Our fish consisted of 1 laker 3 kings and the rest rainbows. Our biggest rainbow was about 8 lbs. Had two doubles and mostly was a rigger and leadcore bite. All of our fish came surface to 50 ft. Green was hot in the morning, then switched over to orange as the sun got higher. We were off the water by 10:30 and looking forward to fishing next week!
  7. Thanks everyone! Looking forward to hitting the water in the morning! Tight lines
  8. Always a nice way to break in the new boat! Nice job! ðŸ‘
  9. Gerritt and I left the docks at 5:30. Our plan was to head out and find the green water. As we got out there is wasn't hard as the green water was almost all the way out to 100fow. We set up in 60fow. We ran two riggers with sliders, two wires and a flat line and a 2 color core. We found that our best screen was in the 80 to 60 ft range. We picked up our first fish on a sea sick waddler down 48 over 60fow. We later got a rainbow on an orange crush and two small kings that came on a chicken wing and hawg wild on the sliders. We didn't have a bite after 9. Every fish came on the riggers and one on a flat line. We finished 4 for 4 and were in at the docks by 12:30. 5/25 Jon met me down at the docks at 5:15 and we were headed out by 5:30. As we left the channel the lake was flat with nice rollers. It looked like another great day of fishing. We set up in 60fow again to work the waypoints from the previous day. We found that the green water moved in a little bit compared to Saturday. Disappointing, we didnt mark or take any hits so we went in the 60 ft and headed west. As soon as we starting marking fish we hooked up with a good laker off of the 4 color core. Our spread consisted of two riggers with sliders 3 lead cores and a flat line. We ended up takeing a fish at least one an hour all the way till one when we stopped. Our deepest fish all weekend came 48 ft down. We had 44 degrees 30 ft down. We finished the day with 6 kings 2 steelies and 1 laker. Hot spoons were the chicken wing, die hard, hawg wild, and orange crush. We finished the day 9 for 11 with the highlight doubling up on a king and rainbow with them both jumping all the way to the net! Another great weekend on Apple Boy
  10. Thanks guys! Hoping the fishing will be better this weekend!
