Start at the dam and scout out good holding areas.Seeing experianced stealheaders on spots is a good indication.You must obey all Warning signs! As for bait roa, as fresh as can be...

I am looking for heated indoor boat storage for winter 2014 in the gta or am willing to travel a fair distance.

Went out this mornign and got a 12 lbs king in 175FOW at 55 feet on a orange crush. It's seams i'm getting most bites in 50 feet at around 9:30 to 10:30 am
What about the rest of you?
Try using glow spoons earlier.

The small. Fish were at 10-20ft
I picked up 2 browns last thursday. Water clarity was,bottom dissapeared at10 fow. east of the BIG tower.

My understanding of the low numbers of Atlantics counted at dam traps in Ontario is because of where the young Atlantics where released. apparently they where released practically in the lake right beside the nets of a commercial fishery.
Apparently they must be released in numerous places up river in order to IMPRINT.
Common sense! The reason this type of release did not take place?? Maybe the ideal rivers withe no dams etc. on the north shore of lake Ontario don't exist?...any more?
I also have read that spawning success of Atlantics... is sensitive to a healthy river system.
compared to Chinooks and coho .Apparently there are some North American STOCKED river/s that have a healthy return of Atlantic salmon...though I cant recall the name just now.

Anyone have any temps for the Bluffs?
Planning to go out with my son when weather permits.I heard alwifes are all over the shallows.Are they spawning? Does this affect where the fish are?Any thoughts are much apreciated!
