    I’m sure this topic has been covered countless times but I’d like to hear from fellow lake o trollers what features/models you do or don’t like , everything I’ve been able to find was more geared to shallow water bass fishing . Currently have two gen 1 HDs 7 , running each as a stand alone gps or fish finder . Would like something with and 8-12 inch screen . Ease of use is a plus as well

    Planer mast ideas with out too much modification

    Setting up a new to me boat. Currently the planer reels are mounted on the base of the tower for my rocket launcher mounted about midship or a little further back. My worry is that the angle of the lines will narrow my trolling spread or may even run into my dipsy lines being so close the rear of my boat. Has anyone ever made a mast that is mounted up front on the roof of the cuddy strictly for moving the planer lines forward to increase trolling spread width and clearance for rods ?     Boat has been sold I picked it up today , big shot out to Jon !! Great guy took his time to show me everything about the boat , pointed out everything he or I could think of no matter how small . Jon took awesome care of this boat never seen a boat this clean for its age .jon is a perfect representation of an outstanding l.o.u. Member .big thanks to him and tight lines this season

    I haven’t had that problem yet , but I know I haven’t been able to use the search function , it responds with no topic found , searching something as broad as salmon or down rigger yields no results
