Awesome walleye Kevin. 28 inches + I would guess.

I have often said we do need a rating system.. Not sure how much it would cost to add it on but I have seen other forums have a ratings system for the classifieds and works well.
That's a good idea.

Nice fish.

Switch the transducer to 200 KHZ, it won't mark as hard.

Thanks everyone! Truthfully we all expected bigger rainbows to be caught and assumed it wasn't big enough to make the board. Who knew...

Nice fish.

Fishing was tough, some nice lakers and largemouth ended up being caught.

Awful day of fishing. Nice day to be out but not much action for me. Washed just about everything and got one laker around 6lbs. Released right after. Called it a day around 3. Back at dock, some slob brings bucket to look at board, decides his lakers wont make cut and throws them belly up in water next to launch. Lost my **** on him in front of marina owner. People are disgusting.
We encountered some not so friendly anglers too, wonder if it was the same guys...
Anyway, we fished hard and couldn't get anything decent Saturday or today. Friday night was a different story and landed many bows including the one below. Sadly couldn't revive her after an amazing battle. 8lbs, 28 inches. All other fish released unharmed.

For you finger lakes guys that have to battle weeds and prefer to run big boards, but can't take the fire drill that happens when you run a big board into a mat...the keels I designed for my otters are weedless and something you can make yourself. I ran them several times now and haven't had to bring them in 1 time to clear weeds off them.20160217_171524.jpg
Cool design Justin!

I fished all over and spent the day clearing weeds. A few small lakers and decent bows.

I'm out now, weeds are biting!

I do well fishing the afternoon. Pontoon boats are an issue though.

I have both the DM II and DM III models. I've replaced the drag in all of them but feel the DM II was much better quality. I'm not sure who manufactured the DMII, but you're correct Okuma makes the DM III.

Nice fish John.

C'mon, let's not turn this into another Dean's Cove. Now there's going to be another 40 extra boats on this beautiful little lake
There's no fish in that lake, don't worry!
