  1. Guys - Thought I would start here first, looking for a vertical boat lift, prefer aluminum. Something around 3000 lb capacity would be perfect. Under $2k prefered as well. Please PM me if you have something or know of one for sale. Thanks! Ken
  2. I live in a house with my wife and three daughters, they may be more valueable than the spoons!
  3. ****SOLD**** Something else I picked up when I thought I would start trolling. They range in condition from decent to rough but pictures explain better than I can. Don't have a price in mind, PM if you are interested. Would rather sell as one lot. Thanks for looking.
  4. The two Okumas are now sold. Moderator - please close add. Will hang on to the Penn just in case...
  5. Bring it up again. Here are the photos from the original add:
  6. Back up another time, the 45 and Penn are still for sale. Also found a Magda Pro 30DX with wire on it - will sell for $40 (photos below). Make an offer on all 3?
  7. Just tripped over these in my office. Let me know if there is any interest, last time to the top. Thanks for looking. Edit - CV30Ds are sold pending funds. Edit 2 - Shimanos are sold.
  8. Some more things I bought on here but will not use. Asking what I paid for them. Still have the downriggers (http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/topic/47487-4-big-jon-downriggers-52-42-and-2-36/) and will be posting a bunch of spoons soon as well. Thanks for looking.
  9. One time to the top before either winter storage or try selling elsewhere. If you have interest, PM an offer. Thanks.
  10. These are OBO, will split and sell separately. Also open to trades - partial to St. Croix and G Loomis.. Worst I can do is say no, so try me by PM!
  11. Bought these on here almost two years ago thinking I would get into trolling; it's not going to happen. Would like to clear out some space and some cash to use on other fishing interests. Here is the post that I purchased them from (the 2 - 36" riggers are sold): "For sale 4 Big Jons Captains Pak Electric Downriggers. All 4 in working condition, all line counters work, all 4 riggers have a Big Jon release on cable, all are spooled with SS rigger cable. 2 have single rod holder, and I have 2 pedestal swivel base mounts. Captains pak's are rated for up to 12# rigger weights. Do not want to seperate, Pick up only in Syracuse. (have battery set up onsite to show riggers work in action.) Asking $900 OBO for everything." Here is a link to the post with photos: http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/topic/34396-4-big-jon-electric-downriggers/ I have not used these, they have been in my camp for the two seasons and not in the elements. Will have to take a loss but need them gone - $325 picked up in the Syracuse area. Would consider splitting, but they will cost more individually for the hassle and time. Thanks. Can take current photos is people are interested, but they look the same. Also have a pair of brand new, uncoated 10 lb herbie weights that I will let go of with or without the riggers. ADDED - TRADES - looking for a sit on top kayak, aluminum row boat, anything to play with at camp. Open to ideas. Tired of tripping over them, and since it's tax season and it hurt, I am donating them to a charity to help with next year's taxes.
  12. Has anyone every powder painted the spoons? Have a bunch of it in the basement for jig heads and was wondering if it might be the way to go on the spoons.
  13. Great information, thank you. I'll be checking each lure to see if it is worth repairing, especially the rusty ones. Have to make a supply order for the season, so will order some new trebles, Siwash hooks, and split to replace what is there. Did look at a couple of the Suttons, did not realize before they have solid rings. Will have to see how to attach a different hook without messing them up. Not really targeting anything at this point, just starting into trolling and love to fish, so whatever is hitting is what I will pursue. As for the Blue Lure it is marked: Pflueger Keeper Made in Hong Kong On the back side it looks like bright chrome. Yes, the oldest looking lures - the blue one, hammered brass, ESL, and the like will be made into wall hangers for the camp. Thanks again.
  14. Wow, great ideas! Have tarnex around here somewhere for the antiques and have a tumbler in the basement with lots of walnut media to burn through I'll get started on them tonight! Is plain old appliance white good to spray the spoons or should I go with something a little glossier? Thanks again.
  15. Can't thank you enough for the information, will be purchasing some Coke to soak the worst offenders and will get out the buffer and silver polish as well. I'll start looking at them a little closer to check the condition and separate them and try to get the best ones ready for the year. Again, thanks for the information, knew you guys would know what they are!
  16. Purchased these through the site a year or two ago, can't really remember. Knew (know) nothing about spoons but finally cleaned them up and wanted to see if they are a good start for trolling, or if I should scrap them and start by buying new. There'se lots of them, but they are thin metal and not very heavy. Like I said, I know nothing about trolling gear. I've attached some photos with the last being of a few that were heavier metal that I thought just looked cool and a couple of them may go on display at our camp (one is marked Sutton and appears pretty old). Any insight is appreciated! Thanks. Group 1 Group 2 Backs Group 2 Fronts Cool looking ones...
  17. Thanks for the leads, ended up finding a really nice 15 horse Evinrude that I picked up today. To the POND!!!!
  18. Have been looking all over, want to buy a small motor for the back of my 13' Whaler (it's a '61, so it has to be tiller control and the max rating is 20 hp). Need a nice, basic motor for pushing it around Sandy Pond to do some fishing. Any info or leads would be appreciated. Prefer Evinrude or Johnson, but will look at anything at this point. Thanks! Ken

Bought a camp up by the pond two years ago and finally in a position to make good use of it! Done lots of stream trout fishing and had a place on Oneida long ago, but getting ready to hit the bigger water in search of new adventures. Have three younger kids and want them to learn a new type of fishing as well. Thanks all for the information on the site, many days of reading ahead!
