They are saying lake levels are going to rise another 6" - 11"!!! Many homes and property are in big trouble!!! I have my neighbor pulling my boat (I live 3 hrs away) out of a boathouse today as it is hitting the roof now. His boat had his windshield crushed last night. Reports are saying the lake is full of debris that has been unreachable by the water for years. Sounds like a terrible mess. 

Water coming up another 10" by June??? My boat is already maxed to the ceiling in my boathouse and I have never seen the water this high. My neighbor had his windshield crushed in yesterday as the water level kept rising and crushed it against the roof. Anyone else hear that the lake is going to keep going up??? Thanks!!! 

Fished Henderson Harbor Sunday morning for a couple hours. Fished tight to shore in shallow 10ft - 15ft of water running spoons and had no bites. Water real cold at 41 degrees. Better days ahead for sure..... 

Contact you local DEC officer. I have had problems with my property and he came in and cleaned things up quick!!!

Congrats on a great catch!!! Those are awesome eyes!!! Well deserved.

I fished Friday from 7-1. Had 1 break off for my nephew who came to catch his first king. I was heartbroken for him and I failed him with the equipment - somewhere I must have had a nick in the line which cost him a fish I had buttoned on real good. Only 2 other releases in 5 hours of fishing. Worked all different colors and depths trying to make something happen. Weather was incredible and the boat traffic was light. Saw 2 other nets move and that was it. Real slow. Saw pockets of fish in certain spots but never really found the mother load. Ran flashers and fly most with some sort of green combo. Hits came with riggers down 120 and 105. Good luck guys!!!

Thank you Guffins Fisherman - I appreciate your feedback. I really enjoy chasing Lake O eyes!!! To me they are the most rewarding fish.

I see guys fishing over deep water 60-80 feet of water with planer boards and I know they are targeting walleyes. When I go out over deep water I mark fish down 40-60 but have not been able to get anything to fire. Do any of you guys weight your stick baits to target eyes at this depth or do you still focus on the top 30ft of the water column. I run deep diver reef runners and husky jerks and do good in the shallower water (30-50 feet) but when that dries up and I head for deeper water the trail goes cold...

Fished opening day - 1 small walleye and a couple pike. Real slow for us.....
