Thanks guys...this gives me a start....

I am looking to install a 9.9 hp kicker motor. What kind of steering are you guys using. Can I get away with a connecting rod from the main motor to kicker motor? Or should I try and integrate the hydraulic steering from the main motor to kicker motor or purchase an electric steering unit? I am trying to find what works best and is the best price solution. Thanks....

Yes...I launched today with my 20' starweld..no problem.. docks are in...guy was at the booth charging 10.00 for launch and said the docks will be pulled within the next 2 weeks.

Check with Fish 307.com  they have many parts on hand for cannon and they will tell you what is available...also located in lake George NY. I have older mag 20's and put a new computer board and switches in both and they were available from fish 307 and easy to do yourself.

Perch fishing in Henderson in my opinion is not a guarantee every year in the fall. Been fishing it for years. Last fall was terrible...the fish did not seem to come into the bay like years past. Lets hope they show up soon.

I am getting into copper fishing...I have ordered the Okuma Pro GLT rods with the stainless steel guides all the way up. Is a Twili tip needed for this rod when running copper? My thought is no but would like an opinion...thanks..

Anybody been perch fishing?

I fished around the mouth of the bay in 7-13ft of water. We caught a ton of fish...but mostly dinks..i think we kept a total of 25 fish over 9" for 3 guys fishing. I won't keep anything unless they are 9" and above. I seen a lot of guys keeping fish way smaller...to me it is not worth fileting anything under 9". Any thoughts?

Fished Kring's today caught a bunch of fish but mostly dinks. Talked to a bunch of other guys...same thing. Where are the hoggs? Wasn't worth the 2 hour trip one way...i missed out again...

Is the launch open at Krings Point State Park?
