went out sat. morning up to the north end, we did pretty good, kept 7 and probably threw back a dozen or so, all lakers except 1 small bow. we haven't had much luck getting anything but lakers, any suggestions? anyways lake was very clean no weeds no fleas, we stayed between 100-125 fow 2-2.25mph. caught fish on pretty much everything core copper riggers but the dipsy's did most of the work right off the bottom

we started down by Sheldrake and headed north it was a bit slow at first then picked up, we stayed between 150-250fow and caught fish on everything I had out, we ended up with 6 lakers and about a dozen or so LLS. but only one keeper LL. water was clean, no weeds no fleas. we stayed between 2-2.25mph and got fish from 80ft-40ft on spoons and flashers w/flys. we kept some lakes to take up to get smoked at log city just outside of Dundee, he does a great job.

I picked up one of those grease traps from big weenie, I've heard a lot of good stuff about them. My question is what is the best thing to run behind it? I was thinking a peanut or a fly. Also would it be best to run off a leadcore or copper or can u use them off a rigger

Thats a nice seneca laker, it sucks about the downrigger but other that that it sounds like it was a pretty good day on the lake.

Nice haul Sean. I was thinking of trying the south end sunday instead of driving all the way up the lake. how were the fleas and weeds
