  1. Is there a launch at the "Conesus marine park". If so is there a fee? I see there is a park on the north shore is there a launch there and if so a fee?

  2. Splashdown 5:30 am. A two and a three color core and a probe rigger all pulling Fingerlakes tackle. Two color core gets busy first with a 4lb laker. Before I was able to throw the laker back in the drink the probe rigger down 15 ft pops with an aerial bow A break in the action then the rigger pops again with a decent 5lb laker. Lake starting to set up with surface temps around 60. 20 ft down is about 56 degrees. Fingerlakes tackle wonder bread and king of sting did the work. Debris was abominable...

  3. Not to change the subject, but how do you guys set up when solo? {auto pilot} how do you keep the boat straight, I tried a bungy on the wheel worked to some degree. Maybe you guys have a better way!!

. As for fishing solo my Min Kota Terrova with controls on a lanyard help but some days you just have to make a whole lot of trips fore and aft your vessel!!! Netting big fish...now that's a whole different story!!!

  4. Nick, I would love to hop

Aboard but I only have a sliver of time in the early morning as I have to have my son to a basketball tournament in Rochester by late morning.

  5. My opinion is the fish are there. We are marking them. We are catching a few. The down temps are insanely cold in some areas. THE BAIT IS PLENTIFUL. Finding the hungry ones is the key. Just present a Fingerlakes tackle king of sting right in front of a lakers nose and you have a real good chance of hooking up.

  6. Bite has been terribly slow in my usual areas so I decided to motor north a bit. Splash down 7:30 am running a 2 and a 3 color core on inline boards and a probe rigger. 3 color board went under before I even put the rigger down. Legal salmon. After that it was all laker rigger bite till I got blown off a bit later. Went 4 for 5 pulling Fingerlakes tackle at 2.25 mph down speed. Surface 55 degrees. Rigger was ran between 40 ft and 100 ft down. Down temp 51 and 45 respectively.
