  1. I have wondered the same. I know I try to alter my course to stay well away from the stern (maybe they have flat lines out who knows) That said, have noticed that as the fish stage there are more and more once a year fisherman that just go where ever as they piss around in their little inflatables. I saw one guy in port credit the other day in a 10 ft dinghy with three kids in 2-3ft waves. Sometimes you can't fix crazy [ Post made via iPhone ]
  2. Just around the corner along Leslie spit has been good. Along the big drop off [ Post made via iPhone ]
  3. The DFO trap an release for research, but haven't chatted with any of those guys this year (canada side). Ever watch/read game of thrones? They are always eating lamprey pie lol. Me being the curious type googled it a while back, well let's just say not too appetizing lol That said I have eaten some weird stuff and I am tempted [ Post made via iPhone ]
  4. Where are you located? Can you ship? I have St croix that would great on lol [ Post made via iPhone ]
  5. errr thats supposed to be max 8 foot storgae, not the cool guy with shades haha!
  6. Thanks for that! Now how bout the rods? These ones are 8 foot (my rod storage is max , am i better with longer two piece? action and power preferences?
  7. Hi guys, still very new to this. We are in the process of gathering gear to set up our boat (if it ever arrives). We picked up four Shimano TDR-80MH2B rods and Okuma Convector 45s for them. My question is on the rods, did I get the right ones? They are med heavy power and Med fast action. We will be running two riggers and two dipsies for now. I would prefer to use the same line on all if I can (suggestions?) I havent removed the wrapping so i can still exchange them no problem. One thing i love about targetting a new species, it makes you feel like a kid again when you are just not sure. adds a bit of adventure to it lol Thanks in advance for your advice
  8. woot freaking woot, pics or it didnt happen lol. but smokin nice salmon to whoever nabbed that one
  9. Its gonna happen, not too worried about that. we are lucky enough that we can have a bit of money tied up waiting for a refund if and when we need to switch (thank goodness). right now the biggest deal is that there is the last long weekend of the tourney comin, we have taken time of specifically for it. amazing how much of a draw the water gives, and thats the biggest issue for us. even the kids are wondering whats up thanks for the comments guys/gals, i really just needed to vent. patient fisherman, impatient when pulled this way and that as a consumer. cheers
  10. Makes me sick. Really hard to choke that sort of thing. GL on the safe return. No real fisherman would do that and no fake fisherman would need them. 'tears [ Post made via iPhone ]
  11. We are at our limit. Like Brandrus says. There plenty of boats out there. Massive disappointment. I have let the owners know and they seem to be unhappy. I will give a bit of a chance and then move on if no change. Every other boat buying experience of mine has been great, this is keeping me up at night. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  12. Hi guys. Wanted to post out of frustration. My wife and I purchased a 2013 legend two weeks ago. We were told that delivery would be in 5-7days. We paid cash, 37k. Two weeks later and they don't know when or even if we will get the boat before the end of the season. We stopped in over the weekend and the response was "well, we shouldn't have have told you 5-7. You'll have to wait. If you don't like it, tough luck" Really torn and frustrated because the product is excellent IMO. But customer service is really wearing us out. Over and out from someone that just wants to go fishing. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  13. Thanks Rippin! So far i have already started to learn from the board, its great. Now if only legend would deliver my boat like they said they would. 5-7 days was an exaggeration
