  1. Just wanted to give people a heads up who carrys boat US insurance and trailers their boat from a to b. I have insured my boat and trailer through them for a  year now. I had a leaf spring snap on my dual axle trailer, and with a 5500lb boat on top putting alot more weight in that corner, pop my tire and cause me to have to leave it at a gas station an hour and a half from my home. The gas station manager tells me i have to have the boat out of the parking lot in 2 days. So what do ya do, you call boat US since u have paid for trailer insurance. You talk to 3 different boat US reps over the next 24 hours and explain that the boat was not towed and what happend and you are never sent to claims dept. So you finally get ahold of someone to do the repairs with a 27' boat on the trailer. They fix it and of course charge you 900$. You call boat US again and finally get sent to the claims dept.  You go get the boat. Then you send a ton of pictures of the damage and an invoice wiat a month, have a guy come and inspect the repairs, and then find out the claim was denied becuase they didnt have a boat us rep inspect it before it was repaired, pictures were not good enough even though over the phone they said that would be fine. So basically due to absolutely the worst service i have recieved in a long time they wouldnt stand by their word at all and wouldnt cover a dime of the entire incident. MY ADVICE IS DO NO INSURE WITH THEM, TERRIBLE BUSINESS AND A TYPICAL JOKE OF AN INSURANCE COMPANY.

  2. It most deffinately is a great area with lots of good people, i have been in the area for 28 years now. I will be fishing this friday. Good luck this weekend, fish are finally coming to Oswego and they are big. 38lb hog taken on tuesday.

  3. Mark welcome to the board, i am one of those guys from Greene (Derek). Take a drive towards seebers on 41 and about 3 miles down you will see my 27' four winns sitting there that goes to Oswego every couple weeks. I have also been a first mate on Hot Pursuit two for over 12 years now. Looks like you have the hang of things, but im always learning and im sure you are as well. We should trade some thoughts over a beer sometime  or some target shooting

  4. We launched out of wrights at 5:30 am and decided to play the color line and head east towards the plant for browns. We worked in and out of the colored water with no luck, then slid out to 80-120 in search of lakers. After 4 hours of going 0 for 0 we decided to pick up and run west. This was the right move. The amount of bait was crazy and once again the fish were not starving but we did manage 3 lakers and at the last second while we were pulling the next to last rod the dipsy fired out 185 over 117 fow. The gorgeous king ripped it out to the 350 mark three different times and gave us a nice acrobatic display. All in all good day....cant wait to get into more fish like this!
