    nevermind. I see they are washington strain steelhead as the skamania are only stocked in salmon river and little salmon river

    They will NEVER be able to kill every single lamprey out there. They also have to be mindful not to damage reproduction/health of the american eel. It looks very smililar to the lamprey but is native to NY. In practicing this methodology, it will create a long term management plan that will decrease the number of lampreys over time. This is a much more sustainable and humane PS the lampreys also attack salmon.
