  1. Gambler you are right... I still don't quite understand the though process behind the decision knowing the standards set by the tournament knowing that anywhere from an 18 to 30ft boat was aloud. But nonetheless you are right.
  2. BTW Congrats THRILLSEEKER!!! HELL OF A JOB!!! Hammer I don't think it quite capped the thread. The smallest boat aloud to fish the tournament would be an 18ft boat. An 18ft boat doesn't stand a snow balls chance in hell on yesterdays water.. There in lies the problem the smaller boats paid the 800.00 bucks only to sit up on the hill and watch the big boys play... I got it and totally understand that this is a totally open sided post and I don't really wanna get into arguing with people I would like to strongly state my case in the matter though.
  3. Went out this morning to fish the invitational and the lake didn't cooperate one bit. After the one hour delay I was for sure that the tournament would be canceled due to the fact that all of the smaller boats that had paid the 800.00 entry fee. IMO since there was a 6 rod limit and no communication that the playing field would be even and the bigger boats wouldn't have an upper hand. That wasn't the case this morning. Went out to 100 FOW and it just wasn't safe for a 22ft boat. I am not calling anyone out or trying to make a huge stink about the situation but I still don't really understand the thought process behind the decisions that was made to go ahead fish. I would think that you would want the tournament to be as competitive as possible and with the vast majority of the boats that stayed in that definitely wasn't the case today. I know that a lot of CPT's were upset and didn't understand why it wasn't postponed until tomorrow.. Oh well I guess you win some and you loose some. Thanks
  4. Runs good comes with 2 cannon manual downriggers. 2 Scotty rod holders and trolling motor and 2 batteries... Good boat. 2500.00 Also have a lot of gear rigger rods and trolling equipment...
  5. The last two weeks in the lake I am fishing walleye are still being caught in the current. Have caught females with eggs still in them the last couple of nights. I haven't seen behavior like this ever.. Throwing stick baits and catching them like it is April... Not complaining but this behavior seems odd. Has kind of thrown me off because I am using tactics that would use at this time of year and they aren't working but go more toward spring tactics and they are still working. I.E casting eyes casting off the shore.... AWESOME!!!!!!!
  6. Someone has to be interested I need a bigger boat...
  7. Attached pictures of the boat. Runs great! Needs nothing. It stays covered when not in use. Haven't had any time to clean it.. Stays in use. Great fishing boat I just need a tad more space.. Have been offered a few times on the spot but was in use. Boat is setup for walleye trolling and jigging but can fish browns and kings when they stage in the bays... 2500.00 OBO No low ball offers... Don't waste both of our time. Didn't have time to take pics of trolling motor.. Stereo works great!!!!
  8. 16ft Blue Finn great boat.. Front and back fishing deck, live well, and steering console 25 HP Evinrude. Minnkota trolling motor. Also installed a CD/sterio system in it. Works great. Has two swivel seats on the front and rear. 2 seats in the center console. Trailer is in good shape new lights installed this year and the boat is registered until 2016. The 25HP Evinrude runs great never an issue. Also have down riggers and rod holders. I am looking to trade or sell for an 18ft boat. I fish walleye and need to be able to fish rougher water more consistently. Also have a hummingbird 718 Sonar fish finder. This is a great boat for someone to fish walleye/bass/pike out of I have caught BIG Walleye out of this boat. Text me pics/offers on the boat and I can text pics of the boat. 315-523-8966

BSmaster BTW not bashing your post I actually though last night before I posted the picture if it would be worth posting because these forums/posts usually end up in a bashing contest. I.E. I killed a 150" Buck in MO a couple years ago and after a week or so the deer ended up being poached and only scored a 112" and the shot placement was horrible and I should have quit hunting by the time people were done giving there opinion. So, you see where I am going with this one. Thanks for the props on the fish.

I figured all the scientific jargon was gonna happen when I posted this picture of the fish. I thought other anglers would appreciate seeing a trophy fish like this. If u look closely at the picture I am not doing the "Extended Arm" fisherman's trick my elbows are resting on top of my thighs. I am 6'3" 225. IMO the fish is a monster. I hope that members on here are able to see my intent of posting a picture like this, the fruits of labor of a father and son spending quality time on the lake together. My son was so excited jumping up and down like I have never seen. BTW I took his life vest off for the photo I put it on immediately after photos. Thanks all and good luck on the water.

Took my four year old son and a buddy out walleye fishing today and although this is the only fish we caught it turned out to be well worth it. Have been fishing hard this year with success some days better than others. This is my biggest walleye to date. My son was so excited to see as big fish be landed right in front of him. Husky jerk paid off for me again. Thought I would share the picture with the members on here. Beautiful walleye and better memory.
  17. Sweet boat and a great guy/fisherman selling. This boat will make someone a great starter boat..
  18. I just bought a boat with riggers and rod holders. I am in the Army stationed here at FT.Drum. I am from the Midwest and would like to get help/advice on catching browns, salmon, and Lakers up in this area. I have all the gear spoons flashers/flies and sticks. Would like to stay close to this area. My boat is a 16ft blue fin. Don't really know where to start. Have read a lot and trolled with no success, I am from the Midwest and not used to this type of fishing at all. Would like to see if anyone would be willing to tell me where to put my boat in and where to fish. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks for taking time to read this post. Also send me a PM and I can provide my # if need be...
