    Cayuga 8/1 lake turnover?

    Fished out of long point this morning. Ended up boating 7 lakers jigging. Did notice really green water everywhere, even back down to lansing. Super slow for us just wondered if anyone else noticed the water and if anybody has an answer on the possible flipping?

    Thanks. Marked a lot of fish between 25-45 feet down while we were jigging, even had a feisty brown take a few hits at the jig boat side. Too bad we didn't connect on that one

    Hit the water at 530, headed north to Aurora and started jigging in front of Wells College. Ended up with 12 Lakers anywhere from 60-85 FOW with 60-70 being the best results. 6 lbs being the biggest laker. Stayed for a bit longer and glad we did! My brother caught a 9.5 lb rainbow jigging. Fish crushed the jig on the reel up. Great fight and great fiah, she really put on a show. Took some pics and released her. Still lots of bait around. All Lakers were released too

    I give everyone right of way, try my best when I have lines out too, if that guy came across me like that he would've gotten a new outlook on life, like a 14.5 foot sylvan in his boat lol. Sailboats are ok if that's what you like, but have some respect for the guys trying to do something out there!

    I would rather have some chip to the water than fishing on flat glass. I run two drift socks off the back of the boat, works great. I like covering water instead of sitting on one spotthen moving to another and so on

    Hope everyone is enjoying the ice! I've been looking into flashers for some time now. Really want to get one, just wanted to hear what people had to say about them. What makes one better than the other? Thanks, Good luck out there!
