  1. Hello Mike. Did well today. 13 for 13 and brought 8 home. 4 lakers, 2 LL, 1 brown and a rainbow. I ran your play book from yesterday. Right on the money. One of my best days with the Arima.

  2. Good talking to you yesterday. Next time I'll have my radio on. No more fish after we talked. 6 in the boat and 3 came home. A LL, brown and a rainbow. Nothing big. 17-18in. Had a screamer on saturday and lost it. He pulled 3 raps out of planer clip. Inline slid down to spoon and he got off.

  3. First, the wire doesn't pull any different if the spool in vertical or horizontal. The guides bring it straight to the spool. If your cable is jumping off spool. Your either doing something wrong or you have other problems. I looked at mine and can't see how the cable would jump off spool if there is a ball with tension on cable.

  4. Starting to get some fish. Tried Sampson twice in the last week. Best fish so far is a 5lb. bow. Lost a nice brown at boat. It swam around rigger line and got off. Have brought home several in the 17 to 19 inch range. Starting to figure things out. Fished Cayuga 20 plus years ago. Things have changed. Never used flies before. Not having luck with them. But doing ok with Seth green and riggers. Have had some hits on dippy/spin doc/fly. But have yet to bring one in. Anyone have a sure thing for that setup?

  5. How far from ball to flasher? Is it the same as spoon to ball. Thank you for the help. There is so much more to think about when fishing on your own boat. When you go with someone else, they usually take care of these things. Learn as I go

  6. Everyone has been great. I thank you all for the help. Please keep the info coming. I would like to go out tomorrow but it looks like wind is high. Not a fan of the north west wind. To erabbit I have been putting in at savern and fishing south.

  7. My boat is an Arima 16' with 50 horse merc. I've had it for a couple weeks. Been out 3 times and not much luck yet. You might recognize it. I bought from a person that has fished on Seneca for a while. Boat name is Skipping School. I've had some people tell me it is bad luck to change name. Although I would like to change.
