As long as the bass guys don't have a tournament boat traffic isn't that bad I fished the Fourth of July only time it got busy was during the boat parade in the pm we got three fish Monday trolling smaller 5 inch cranks all perch colored good luck

I know in years past the bass opener is a nightmare at the launch with the 5 mph limit on the lake it might not be so crowded but there is usually a bass tournament on opening day if yer trolling my best luck has been from the Boy Scout camp to the inn good luck

Defiantly stop in to Chautauqua reel outdoors mike has a nice selection of trolling lures to choose from and is a great guy to talk musky fishing with he will point u in the right direction I picked up some sweet lures a couple weeks ago getting them wet tommorow on waneta

I fished waneta Saturday noon till 6 pm very muddy lots a floating weeds had one hit talked to a few guys at the launch most said they caught one or lost one

Last year most of the bass guys were on lamoka but the launch is a nightmare I got there at 4 am and was waiting behind at least 6 guys to launch

We have had a lot of luck trolling with jointed cranks rapalas and Leo's but we slow down 2.8 to 3.2 don't forget about spoons got two on spoons as well

For me and my crew it was great our 1st one and we got 2nd place a nice 38.5 hit a spoon on one off the riggermet a ton of great guys this was our first and will not be our last

I fished yesterday from 3 pm till 8 and 6 till 1230 today not one fish marked a bunch but no takers a friend of mine got 2 small ones but he knows what he's doing on that lake I called him and he put me in the right direction if their not biting it's tough our previous trip up we boated 5 in July keep hammering away things will change

When trolling with spoons what speeds should u be running watched a guy catch 2 today creeping while trolling spoons and what are yet guys favorite spoons they seem to be cheeper than any other musky bait out there I'd like to get some in the arsenal just wondering what you guys like
