Another probably simple question I have; with two batterys on a perko switch, should I connect kicker to deep cycle with riggers or cranking battery. I would assume cranking.

I use micro lead that has same sink rate as standard and fit 10 color on diawa sealine reel with 200yds of braid backer.

Some nice bows caught! Good to see! As far as walleye, good eating fish; no doubt! I think population is fine for the lake. Plenty of places to catch em around here. Personally would like to see more salmon, rainbow, brown stocking done in owasco being that water table is very similar to ontario. Lots of potential in this lake.

Yea, we marked most fish deep but didnt find any takers. Lots of bait balls but that was all in 40 ft range.

Nope, not in derby. Im not a fan of south end marina owner and try to avoid the place. Quite a few boats out there this year though.

Trolled from 6 to noonish. Picked up three lakers in 5 to 6 lb range. All were on orange spoons, down 35 to 50 ft over 70 all the way out to middle of lake. Had one in ten to twelve lb range come unbuttoned right behind boat. Not a great day but had much worse.

Finally found a kicker for my boat, now time to mount it. Looking for advise on tying into main I/O tank or separate tank. Also what distance away from outdrive should kicker be. Im told in down position the water intake should be just below bottom of boat. Rather install it myself to save some cash. Any help is appreciated!

Try tonight or before sun up with stick baits in shallow. When there biting you cant not catch fish. Maybe a nite bite, or slow down and drift w live bait on bottom tomorrow. Purple is my go to color from ice out till about now. Then black. Goodluck!
