I fish Seneca for perch without a boat this time of year thru the spring when I want them and normally do great around the pier and docks in Seneca harbor when they get in there they are there by the thousands you will see them carpeting the bottom so thick you can not see the bottom don't know how it is doing right now but they should be at least starting to come in there now

-
great brown there and great report
-
did it have an all black mouth or just black lined mouth if it is all black it is a king if it had a white mouth with black lined it is a coho

ok 1st my mast is right about where my rod holders are on my boat I have had no issues here
2) get the otter boards and you can pull 3 coppers if u have the 2 rudders on it
3) I have never had tangles with otter boards
4 if it doesn't release you will tow the fish till you check it but sometimes if it is a decent fish you will notice the board pulling more to the back of the boat instead of to the side

take a mix of minnows and crawlers and fish from the fishing doc close to the launch at the Oak should do something there
-
that is what it looks like Valinote
-
wow wish I could have been out there sounds like you had a blast
-
it definitely depends on put and take no way we can keep enough to destroy a put and take fishery as long as people keep them within the law. that is that they are put in for
-
ok here are my thoughts on it a 15 inch salmon well I have never caught one that small but if I did and nothing else being caught at that time and I have released several of them I would move to a different location to try to find bigger fish. yes I do keep fish the salmon I have caught this year have been from 10-20 lbs and I kept all 4 of them I kept 6 browns all over 4 lbs biggest 13 lbs and 4 steelhead 5-8 lbs yes I keep them to feed my family a better quality and healthier for you fish than you buy in the store we hate the GMO fish as they are bad for you much prefer nice good healthy fish from our fishery to eat that being said if I do catch a 15 inch salmon one day yes it will go back unless that is absolutely all I can find that day and I am out of fish in the freezer for my family to eat

just because it isn't bad now they could have the advisory because of bad weather or high winds moving in be careful if you go out

great report wish I could get my boat out but my truck got totaled have a jeep now but no hitch on it yet

I run the same set ups for browns as I do salmon never know on Lake O what you are going to have hit I would rather have heavier gear than to not have heavy enough if a king hits it
